Tennessee (18-12) is on the bubble and they can likely get off it if the can beat the 23rd ranked Kentucky Wildcats (21-8) in this home game.
In their last games Tennessee beat South Carolina 73-69 on Thursday night and Kentucky beat Vanderbilt 68-66 on Tuesday night.
Neither team has been a good one to lay some green on with Tennessee at 13-16 and Kentucky at 10-13-1. The home team is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 games between these 2 SEC rivals, but I think that trend will end in this game.
Tennessee looked like a lock to make the Big Dance a few weeks ago, but they have played themselves on the bubble losing 5 of their last 8 games. They will have their hands full with a Kentucky team that beat them by 12 points earlier this season and is confident winning 2 games in a row both over ranked teams.
This is not a good match up for the Volunteers, as the Wildcats have a higher scoring offense and a better defense. UK ranks 21st in the nation in scoring and in their win over UT earlier in the season they shot a legit 44.9% from the field and they had 4 starters score in double figures.
The Wildcats have 4 players averaging in double figures led by G Brandon Knight (17.7 ppg) and F Terrence Jones (17.2 ppg). The Wildcats play a great inside/outside game and the Volunteers have to play good all-around D and not let the athletic UK team to get out on the break.

If the Wildcats can shut them down they will win this game. In the loss to Kentucky this duo only combined to score 21 points on 6/17 shooting. Also, in that game the Wildcats dominated the boards and the Volunteers must hit the glass and not let that happen again.
Kentucky is on a roll and they are better than UT on both sides of the court. The Wildcats will win this game and cover the spread heading into the post-season winners of their last 3 games.
