Oklahoma (14-17) comes into the Big 12 quarterfinal game against 10th ranked Texas (25-6) with confidence since they upset Baylor yesterday in the conference tourney. Even though Texas beat Oklahoma twice already this season it is never easy to beat a team 3 times in a season and on top of that Texas did not end the season well losing 3 of their last 5 games.
In their last games Oklahoma beat Baylor yesterday 84-67 and Texas beat Baylor in their season finale 60-54.
This season Texas was a great betting team going 18-8 ATS while the same cannot be said against Oklahoma going 12-13 ATS. Oklahoma has only covered the spread 3 times in their last 11 games facing Texas.
The Longhorns beat the Sooners by a combined 36 points in their 2 games this season, but Oklahoma shot 57.5% in their win over Baylor yesterday and they shot 50% from beyond the 3-pt arc.
The Sooners had 4 guys score in double figures yesterday led by G Cade Davis, who scored 24 points and hit 4 of 8 of his 3 point shots. Oklahoma will be playing against a tough Texas defense that ranked 20th in the nation in opponents’ points per game.

Andrew Fitzgerald is the leading rebounder for OU only averaging 5.2 rebounds per game and their 2nd leading guy on the glass is Cade Davis (5 rpg) and he is a guard. If Texas dominates the glass in this game they will blow out the Sooners for the 3rd time this season.
I think Texas will win this game, but the Sooners will play well again and not get blown out. The spread is not posted now, but the Longhorns will be big favorites, so Oklahoma will cover the spread.
