Cincinnati Bearcats vs. DePaul Blue Demons Gambling Odds & NCAAB Free Pick

Cincinnati vs DePaul Betting!

The Bearcats have lost 2 of their last 3 games and there is a good chance they stay in the W column facing a DePaul team that has lost 3 of their last 4 games. Cincy is only 2-2 in Big East play and they need to win these types of games since there are 4 teams in the conference that are ranked.

This season Cincy is 7-6 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 2-8 and DePaul is 7-6 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 4-5.

For DePaul to pull off the upset they will have to play better D than they did in their last game giving up 99 points to UCONN and they also have to hit the glass facing a Cincy team that ranks 2nd in the nation in rebounds per game.

The Bearcats have a solid G duo in Sean Kilpatrick (17.2 ppg) and Cashmere Wright (14.8 ppg). Kilpatrick struggled with his shot in the win over Rutgers, but Cashmere picked up the slack scoring 23 points. Cashmere is also shooting over 43% from beyond the 3-point arc and the Blue Demon cannot give him open looks from deep.

The Bearcats have 4 players that are averaging over 5 rebounds per game and DePaul leading rebounder Cashmere Wright has to man the glass. [ad-6571516]

Wright has played well in the last couple of games and he and leading scorer Brandon Young (17.3 ppg) must get some help in the scoring department. Both of these guys were solid in the UCONN game, but they are the only 2 players averaging in double figures.

The Blue Demons have to attack the rim and get easy points in the lane and from the charity stripe, as they do not have any players that can light it up from deep.

Cincinnati has not lost to DePaul since the 2007-2008 season.

In some betting trends for this Big East match up Cincy is 18-6 ATS in their last 24 road games, 8-3 ATS in their last 11 vs. Big East, and in 8 of their last 9 games the posted total has gone Under.

DePaul is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games, 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, and in their last 6 home games the posted total has gone Under 5 times.

Jason’s Pick: Cincy is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games against DePaul, but that trend will end tonight. The Bearcats will win this game and cover even on the road.
