With the Super Bowl occurring next Sunday, both NASCAR and Major League Baseball on hiatus, and sports betting fans not really warming up to either golf or NHL yet, the NBA pretty much has the weekend all to itself.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers: The Spurs are now 28 and 13 straight-up. That’s almost an unbelievable record considering the injuries they had to play through earlier in the season. The Spurs record against the spread is 19-21-1 but they are okay against the spread on the road at 10 and 8. The Los Angeles Lakers continue to impress basketball betting fans by winning games straight-up. They are 34 and 8 with a 20 and 22 record against the BetUS online betting spread. L.A. has a record of 12 and 13 against the spread at home. The key in this game is going to be the BetUS online betting odds. The Spurs will be traveling to L.A. and playing the Lakers after facing the New Jersey Nets in New Jersey on Friday. That’s a bit of a hike, but San Antonio can do it. My hope is that the BetUS online sportsbook odds makers consider the fact that San Antonio is traveling cross-country and makes them a bigger online betting underdog than they should be. If that’s the case, I’m going with San Antonio.
