The Hawks are five-point home favorites after dismantling the Heat 90-64, and Miami needs to find a second scoring option to Dwayne Wade. Atlanta had six players in double figures, and a balanced team will beat a one-man show every time. Take Atlanta to cover the basketball betting spread.

Hornets vs Nuggets odds – Wednesday, 10:30 PM ET
The Nuggets are six-point home favorites, and they shouldn’t expect another explosion from Chauncey Billups, who had 36 in a 113-84 blowout. Carmelo Anthony needs to make some shots. For the Hornets, it’s David West who has to step up and prove he’s worthy of being an All-Star. Denver will win, but they won’t cover the sportsbook spread.

The Celtics are two-point underdogs on the road, and the Bulls have to be bursting with confidence after winning Game 1 in Boston, and they were within a Ray Allen three of overtime in Game 2’s 118-115 loss. Now the Celtics have lost Leon Powe, another blow to their interior defense. The United Center will be rockin’, so take the Bulls to cover the basketball betting spread.

Spurs vs Mavericks odds – Thursday, 8:30 PM ET
The Mavericks are four-point favorites at home with the series tied at one, but they have to find a way to stop Tony Parker, who destroyed them with layups en route to 38 points in a 105-84 loss. Dirk Nowitzki and company are far better at home, but it won’t matter if they can’t stop Parker. Take the Spurs in a basketball betting upset.

Lakers vs Jazz odds – Thursday, 10:00 PM ET
The Lakers are 2.5-point favorites on the road with a 2-0 lead, and they shot 60 per cent from the floor in a 119-109 win in Game 2. Los Angeles isn’t playing great defense, admittedly, but the Jazz can’t stop them at the other end of the floor anyway, and they’re still missing Mehmet Okur, who is very questionable for this game. However, Utah is an insane place to play, and they’ll be the difference as the Jazz pull out a basketball betting “upset” at home.

I am interested to see how Boston plays in what I feel is a pivotal game three . This is a chance for them to take back control of this series and regain the home court advantage. If Chicago can win this game, they would swing the momentum in their favor putting Boston back on the ropes.
And I’m sure hoping the Bulls win 2 @ home and take control of this series. (Only because I have a small bet riding on it 🙂 )
