HEAT vs. BULLS
Time: Thursday 8 ET
Venue: United Center, Chicago
Spread: Bulls -1.5
Over/Under: 190
Team records:
Miami: 37-34 SU, 36-33-2 ATS
Chicago: 33-37 SU, 35-33-2 ATS
In the TNT opener tonight, the Bulls – starting to feel better about themselves after winning 2 straight following a 10-game losing streak – continue a last-ditch effort to steal the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Center Joakim Noah is back from a bout with plantar fasciitis and reports indicate he’ll get around 15-20 minutes tonight.
Chicago trails Toronto by two games in the race for the final spot, but in actually is three games back because Toronto has already defeated the Bulls twice this season, and have an edge if the teams are tied for the 8th spot.
The 8th-place team gets to get torn apart by Cleveland in the first round.

THURSDAY NIGHT BEST NBA PARLAY BET:
The Mavs are a decent road team. They are also a decent cover team on the road, and they’re also good ATS on the road against good teams that play well at home.
Motivation is everything in the final dozen games of the season, and Dallas is still in the mix for the second-best home record in the West. The Blazers and Mavs are both solid Over teams, but this one will be more like a playoff game, and playoff games tend to slow down.
In the opener, keep an eye on Michael Beasley, who claims that criticism from TNT commentator Charles Barkley a while back threw off his game. Beasley never seems to have his head on right, and he might press tonight.
For a possible parlay, consider Bulls -1.5 in the opener and the under (192) in the second game.
