TNT brings you its 4-star hotel special tonight. None of these teams is quite the Ritz Carlton, but you won’t find bedbugs at any of them either.

The Suns, Magic, Nuggets and Trail Blazers are all 50-plus win teams, all have the potential to go at least two rounds into the playoffs and all have flaws that probably will eventually be unearthed and prevent any from winning the title. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

***Denver plods along at 6-5, no one really knowing whether or not Carmelo Anthony will be around for a late-winter playoff push.

The Nuggets know Melo loves the idea of being a free agent this summer and having teams fall all over him, so they hope to get something – anything – for him in a trade.

Trouble is, he wants to go to a winning team, and not many winning teams like the idea of trading away key pieces for what they might get in Anthony. Then there’s the not-insignificant matter of signing Anthony once you have him.

***It’s a good thing the Sonics moved to Oklahoma City, because the last thing the Blazers need in the Pacific Northwest is a daily reminder of what they could have had had they taken Kevin Durant instead of Greg Oden a few years back. Oden now appears to be out for the season. Again.

And the Blazers will continue to be a good-but-not-great club that relies too much on Brandon Roy and might as well wear a patch on their uniforms that says “first round elimination.”

Best bet: Forget the parlay here and bang the Blazers hard on this one. Denver has been a poor road team this season and the Blazers need to get this one before embarking on a tough stretch that includes home games against Utah and New Orleans followed by a 4-game East Coast swing. Liking Portland -3.
