NBA Sunday Free Picks

BetUS NBA sports betting fanatics know that another Sunday means more thrilling NBA basketball action to wager on for NBA sports betting buffs everywhere.

As is my weekly custom, this NBA ‘Four-Pack’ is designed to provide BetUS NBA sports betting fanatics with the maximum potential to make four winning wagers in the BetUS Sportsbook on today’s matchups.

Here then, is a brief look at each contest, followed by my in-depth analysis and NBA Free Picks:

Orlando at Toronto

Heading into Friday night, the Magic had gone 4-1 SU and a identical 4-1 ATS while the Raptors had gone just 2-3 over the same span while dropping their last three contests and covering the spread in an identical two of three.

Toronto averages 96.8 points per game while allowing 100.5 points per contest defensively while the Magic are averaging 101.0 points per game and limiting their opponents to just 93.6 per game defensively.

Analysis: It’s kind of hard to figure out how the Raptors became so mediocre after a thrilling start, but the fact is that their acquisition of Jermaine O’Neal has given the team two power forwards in O’Neal and team leader Chris Bosh as neither is a legitimate center.

The Magic, on the other hand, are firing on all cylinders and look like they will challenge the Celtics and cavaliers for the Eastern Conference crown this season.

Even on the road, I like the Magic to win narrowly.

NBA Free Picks: Orlando 102 Toronto 97

Cleveland at Washington

The Cavaliers were 4-1 SU but just 1-4 ATS in its last five heading into Friday while averaging 101.5 points per game and allowing just 89.6 points per contest defensively.
The Wizards had lost three of five heading into Friday but had covered the spread in the BetUS Sportsbook in four consecutive games. Playing all season long without starting point guard Gilbert Arenas, Washington has struggled to score the ball, averaging just 95.0 points per contest while allowing 101.3 points per game defensively.

Analysis: I won’t waste anyone’s time with a long-winded analysis on this contest since everyone knows that LeBron ‘Jay-Z’ James and the Cavaliers absolutely own the Wizards and DeShawn ‘Souljah Boy’ Stevenson and Co.

I say the Cavs lay another emphatic smackdown on the struggling Wizards.

NBA Free Picks: Cavaliers 101 Wizards 94

Boston at New York

The Celtics had lost three of four heading into Friday’s matchup against Washington while covering the spread just once in those contests. The Celtics are averaging 101.0 points per game this season while limiting its opponents to just 90.8 points per game defensively.

The Knicks went 1-4 SU and ATS in its last five while averaging 104.3 points per game to rank third in scoring. Unfortunately, the Knicks are also allowing a whopping 107.9 points per contest, ranking 29th overall.

Analysis: While I like the superior Celtics to win this game, something tells me the Knicks are going to bring their collective ‘A’ game while covering the spread if it’s a bit too high.

NBA Free Picks: Boston 104 New York 96

Portland at L.A. Lakers

The Blazers were just 3-2 SU over their last but scored two solid victories over Toronto and Boston heading into Friday night while going an identical 3-2 ATS and 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four. The young Blazers are averaging 99.0 points per game while allowing 95.0 points per contest defensively.

Conversely, the Lakers were 4-1 in their last five, riding a four-game winning streak heading into Friday while covering the spread in three of five including each of their last three outings.

Led by superstar Kobe Bryant, the Lakers are averaging a whopping 107.3 points per game while allowing 97.6 points per contest defensively.

Analysis: The Blazers are well on their way to current and future success with one of the most talented young rosters in the game, but they will not be up to the Lakers’ championship-caliber effort in this contest as they fall in a closer-than-expected finish.

Take the Lakers to win, but if the line looks a bit too high, take the Blazers to cover.

NBA Free Picks: Lakers 101 Blazers 95
