The Clippers (29-46, 35-39-1 ATS) are just 4-6 in their past 10 games, including a 106-100 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. That’s a sparkling run compared to their efforts against the spread, however—the Clips have covered the spread just twice in their last 10 outings, including back-to-back losses.

After a brief hiatus, the Blake Griffin Show is back on the air. The soon-to-be Rookie of the Year is the No. 1 reason to follow Los Angeles, but he struggled through the middle of March, perhaps hitting the rookie wall. His slump included a seven-game stretch without grabbing double-digit rebounds and a declining scoring average. It’s all behind Griffin now, as he’s averaged 25.5 points and 14.0 rebounds over his past five games. Griffin picked up 25 points and 17 rebounds in the loss to Dallas, giving him three double-doubles in his past four outings.

Phoenix (36-38, 34-38-2 ATS) has watched its playoff hopes circle the drain over the past couple of weeks. The Suns have lost four consecutive games, including an 0-4 run against the spread. The latest loss was a 116-98 home defeat to Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

After a small resurgence, the “D” has completely melted down again. Phoenix has allowed five of its past six opponents to score 100 or more points. The Suns are allowing 112.3 points per game in that span, hardly good enough to make a playoff run. Fatigue is clearly a major factor. Steve Nash and Grant Hill looked gassed after carrying a lackluster squad all season, and the coaching staff has already promised to cut their minutes once Phoenix is mathematically eliminated.

They might as well start now. The poor Suns look broken. At least the Clippers are used to having nothing to play for, and Griffin will no doubt want to put a little more icing on his Rookie of the Year campaign. Take the Clips.
