Prior to those wins they hadn’t won a game away from the Pyramid all season long so another road date against the soaring Warriors may not be that unwelcome.
Especially since they beat Golden State the only other time these teams have played this season.

Heading into L.A. PG Mike Conley was leading the team in scoring but in beating the Clippers it was their post players that led the way. C Marc Gasol and PF Zach Randolph both scored more than 20 points combining for 49 with 24 rebounds.
Anytime they dominate like that this team is going to be tough to beat and this strength plays to the weakness of the opponent when they play fast paced teams like Golden State
Given how good the Grizzlies are playing right now and the fact that they have already proven they can handle the Warriors the 8.5 number seems a little grand.
The Grizzlies totally shutdown GS in the last one but also proved against L.A. they can win a game against a good team played at a fast pace. You have to look at the underdog in this one right now.

Golden State
The Warriors are on an even better run having won their last 4 games coming into this one. They have yet to lose at home this season and will be looking for revenge against Memphis – which was the last team they lost too.
The Warriors do like to run and gun but in the early going they have also been very solid on defense (6th), hence the great record. If they can keep that up for the entire season they will be a true contender.
The Warriors’ bigs are going to have to stand tall in this one. In their last game against Utah David Lee and Andrew Bogut combined for 27 rebounds while scoring 22 points.
If they can be similarly productive it will go a long way to reversing the result from the last time these teams met when Bogut especially struggled with just a single point scored.
At home the Warriors play with tremendous confidence and I fully expect Steph Curry and Klay Thompson to shoot better than the 12 for 31 they did the last time these two teams met.
I like Golden State to grab the home victory but the number is a little big for my tastes. At this point I am not quite sure which way I think it will move either so I would stay with the dog or maybe take the over.
Odds are the home team with set the pace so cruising over 200 points for the game seems likely.
