The Portland Trail Blazers will try and make it three in a row when they take on the Orlando Magic tonight at the Amway Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be available on NBA League Pass.

Portland has won seven of its last 10 games including a 107-102 victory over Sacramento last Wednesday as a 3 ½-point road favorite and a 93-69 romp over Charlotte as an 11-point home favorite this past Saturday. The Trail Blazers are now 4 ½ games behind Oklahoma City in the Northwest Division with an overall record of 35-27 straight-up and 30-29-3 against the spread. They are in seventh-place in the Western Conference.

LaMarcus Aldridge leads team in scoring with 22.3 points a game and is second in rebounds with 8.9. Andre Miller is averaging 13.3 points and a team-high 7.3 assists while Marcus Camby is pulling down 11.1 rebounds a game. Portland is ranked 23rd in the league in scoring with 96.2 points a game and 27th in rebounds with 39.5.

Orlando’s recent four-game winning streak came to an end with an 89-81 loss to Chicago this past Friday night as a two-point home favorite. This followed an amazing come-from-behind victory over Miami as a 5 ½-point road underdog last Thursday. The Magic are 40-23 SU overall (29-33-1 ATS) and three games in back of the Heat in the Southeast Division.

Dwight Howard continues to be a force with a team-high 23.1 points and 13.9 rebounds a game, but he will be out of this one, serving a one-game suspension after picking up his16th technical foul of the season in Friday’s loss. Jameer Nelson, who leads the team in assists with 6.2 a game and is averaging 12.6 points and Jason Richardson, who is the second leading scorer with 13.8 points a game will have big shoes to fill tonight.

The Trail Blazers beat Orlando 97-83 as a 2 ½-point home underdog in early December and get a gift with Howard out of the lineup, but stick with the Magic to find a way to cover the 2 1/2-point spread in front of the home-town crowd.

NBA Gambling Trends:
Under is 8-1 in POR last 9 vs. NBA Southeast.
Over is 17-8 in POR last 25 Mon. games.

ORL are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 Mon. games.
