NBA Picks: Timberwolves vs. Kings Gambling Lines & Preview

NBA Gambling: Minnesota vs Sacramento

We don’t have the most exciting game on the schedule tonight, as two bottom-feeders in the West play each other. The Sacramento Kings (26-50) host the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-60).

Something will have to give in this match-up, as the Kings have lost five games in a row and Minnesota have lost six games in a row. However, someone will have to break their losing streak tonight.

Sacramento only have 26 wins on the season, but 16 of those wins were at home. Minnesota is just 7-30 on the road all season, but covering –10 points is a lot to ask of a team with zero motivation at all.

The Timberwolves are really banged up right now, as Rubio, Neal, Bennett and Dieng are all out tonight, plus Garnett is listed as a GTD. Minny still have Wiggins and Martin, but that’s about it.

Minnesota’s starting line-up consists of LaVine, Wiggins, Martin, Payne and Hamilton. These young guys can’t seem to pick up a win, but at least they’re getting on the court and gaining experience.

Sacramento have some injuries too, but not nearly as many as the Wolves. The Kings are definitely going to be without Collison and Landry, plus Gay and Stauskas are both GTD for tonight’s match-up.

Cousins is still playing though and he’s playing great. He has been a beast lately, despite the Kings not being able to win a game. He has six double-doubles in a row and some have been insane.

For example, Cousins has had 20+ points and 20+ rebounds in three of the Kings last four. That’s insane and he’ll easily be able to takeover this game at home against the lowly Timberwolves.

On paper the Kings score 100.9 PPG (13th), allow 104.9 PPG (29th) and average 44.4 RPG (7th). Minnesota is worse in every category, as they score 97.6 PPG (23rd), allow 105.9 PPG (30th) and average 41.1 RPG (27th).

I’m not sure if I’ve ever bet on a team as bad as the Kings to cover –10 points in the NBA, but it’s the best bet in this match-up. Minnesota haven’t been able to keep any game remotely close recently.

4* Free NBA Picks: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Sacramento Kings

Minnesota have now lost five in a row by double digits and some of those losses came against the likes of Utah and Orlando. If those teams can win by 10+ points, I see no reason why the Kings won’t be able to.

Sacramento Kings –10 (-110)

The T-Wolves will have no answer for Cousins down low in the paint and they have too many injuries to compete with any NBA team right now. Sacramento will win this one big for their fans at home.
