A game between the Pacers and Bucks may not sound too exciting, but both of these teams are in the thick of the playoff race in the East. With time running out – every game is extremely important.

The Pacers and Bucks both won their last game, but the Pacers are 4-6 in their last 10 games and the Bucks are 3-7 in their last 10 games. Indiana is 9th in the East, but a win would move them up.

Milwaukee are 6th in the East, but if they keep losing down the stretch they may not end up making the playoffs. The two teams are both getting healthy, although the Pacers are still banged up a bit.

Paul George still isn’t back and Rodney Stuckey has been ruled out too. Jared Dudley and O.J. Mayo are both GTD’s for the Bucks. This is going to be a close game that’s decided by a couple big factors.

[dfads params=’groups=63727&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

First off, will the Pacers big men (Roy Hibbert & David West) be able to dominate the paint? Pachulia is a decent defender, but Ilyasova is soft and West should be able to have his way at PF tonight.

The Bucks should have the edge at SF and the two guard positions. MCW, Middleton and Antetokounmpo are all capable of having big games offensively and the Pacers aren’t as strong at those positions.

George Hill, Solomon Hill and Miles are inconsistent, plus they’ll struggle with the size of the Bucks. On paper, these teams are very similar. Indiana scores 96.7 PPG (24th) and allows 97.1 PPG (5th).

Milwaukee scores an average of 96.7 PPG (22nd) and gives up 97.4 PPG (7th). Indiana are the better team at rebounding though, as the Pacers average 44.6 RPG (6th) and the Bucks average 42.3 RPG (21st).

So far this season the Pacers are 2-1 against the Bucks with a win in Milwaukee by 3 points.

However, Stuckey was healthy for that game and he had 11 points, so his production will be missed.

4* Free NBA Picks: Indiana Pacers vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee is actually 20-14 at home this season and the Pacers are just 13-22 on the road. Both teams need to win, as they’re not in a great position in the East and I’ll be on the home team to cover ATS.

Milwaukee Bucks –1.5 (-110)

The Bucks should look to play at a high pace and use their big wings to push forward quickly when in transition. The veterans on the Pacers are all overworked at this point and won’t keep up with the Bucks.
