The Phoenix Suns take on the Golden State Warriors in a battle of Western Conference teams that are currently on the outside looking in when it comes to making the postseason. Tip-off from Oracle Arena is set for 10:30 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast on NBA TV.

Phoenix’s recent three-game winning streak came to an end with a 111-107 loss to Oklahoma City as a two-point home underdog this past Friday. The Suns are currently 23-25 straight-up (20-26-2 against the spread) and in 10th place in the conference; 2 ½ games behind Portland for the final playoff spot.

Steve Nash and Vince Carter are the primary veterans holding this team together after the departure of Amar’e Stoudemire this past offseason. Nash leads the team with 16.7 points and 11 assists, and Carter is averaging 15.8 points and five rebounds a game. Phoenix is averaging 105.2 points a game, but giving up an average of 106.4.

Golden State has won its last three games including a huge 101-90 victory over Chicago as a 3 ½-point home underdog this past Saturday. The Warriors are now 22-27 SU and 26-22-1 ATS. They are in 12th-place in the West; four games in back of the Trail Blazers.

Monta Ellis leads a Golden State lineup that features four players averaging 16 points or more a game. Ellis is averaging 25.3 points and Stephen Curry is second with 19.1. Curry leads the team in assists with six a game, while David Lee is the leading rebounder with 9.5. The Warriors are averaging 103.2 points per game, but like Phoenix, are giving up close to 106 points.

Phoenix has won the last two games of this series SU on the road and is 7-1 SU in the last eight. Take the Suns and the 4 ½ points this time around.
