Miami
This is the most efficient scoring team in the NBA and it will be challenged by one of its best defenses. I wouldn’t call it an epic battle but at least it is a challenge.
Lebron James is enjoying another MVP calibre season and would probably have even better numbers is he played more minutes.

This team is pacing themselves for the playoffs and looks like it has been on cruise control for a lot of the season. I still find it amazing how the big three for Miami are all having such great shooting seasons.
Lebron is shooting 57%, Dwyane Wade 54% and Chris Bosh 52%. Those kind of percentages make it easy for everyone to put up pretty good numbers even with limited opportunities.
The Heat have covered in 6 of their last 7 to make their overall ATS numbers more respectable..but still unprofitable. They have become such a public team that is just hard to get really high value numbers when they play so more often than not I am looking to fade Miami.
Not to lose outright but come up short of the number.
It is not a great strategy but if you pick and choose your spots.

Memphis
As much as Miami is trying to maint their lead in the East Memphis is trying to just make it in in the Western Conference – they are currently on the outside looking in. Memphis got off to a slow start and they are not finishing great either which is why they might not have a seat when the music stops.
This might be the toughest game they have remaining but they probably have to win them all to make it.
The Grizzlies were embarrassed by the Spurs in their last game and now have to host Miami. Against San Antonio PG Mike Conley nearly outscored the other 4 starters and the game would have been even uglier if reserve James Johnson had not let the team with 20 points.
It was a season high for Johnson that was encouraging but really they need players like to Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph to produce if they are going to make the playoffs.
Memphis plays a defensive style and they are third in the league in points allowed but it has not been a winner for backers – they are just 33-42-2 ATS this season.
Their struggles to score make them a tough bet as for long stretches they can just look awful, even in games they win.
They will need to rise to the occasion on Wednesday.
