While the Nuggets are back at home following their six-game road trip in which they went a respectable 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS, I like the Lakers to show their championship mettle against the Nuggets as they deliver another message to their Western Conference rivals that all roads to the NBA Finals out west go through L.A.
Denver’s loss to a young Milwaukee team, combined with their one-point win over an equally young Bulls team – and blowout loss at Atlanta, tell me the Nuggets are out of sync and ripe for the picking to a Lakers team that is getting some fantastic contributions from young center Andrew Bynum, along with the normal excellence of perennial MVP candidate Kobe Bryant.
