The New York Knicks have gone from an afterthought to a team that everyone wants to see.
During the same time period, the Miami Heat have gone about dominating their opponents. Miami has won seven straight games, and the Heat look better than they have at any time in the last two years.
This one should be a lot of fun!
Jeremy Lin isn’t just a media star; he is also a basketball star. Despite what a few haters may say, this guy has tons of talent and he has done an amazing job in his short time with the Knicks. Lin has scored 20 points or more in nine of the team’s last eleven games.
He has had at least eight assists in eight of the Knicks last ten contests. Lin makes this team much better because of his play making ability.
Carmelo Anthony is back in the lineup and everyone wants to see how it will work out. Clearly, Anthony will get a few less shot attempts, but he should get some high quality looks.[soliloquy id=”82219″]
The Knicks are a much more dangerous team than they were just a month ago.
Miami has gone through a very difficult portion of their schedule of late, but the team has blitzed everyone in their path.
LeBron James is probably the MVP of the league at this point in the season. James is shooting a career-high 55% from the floor. He has improved his low post game and cut down on his three-point shots. James is also averaging 8.1 rebounds, which is the highest mark in his career.
Dwyane Wade has battled injuries nearly all year, but he is healthy and playing great over the last couple weeks. Wade has at least 20 points in nine of the team’s last ten games.
Shane Battier and Norris Cole are part of a deep Miami bench that contributes quite consistently.
Linsanity has overshadowed the Heat in the past couple weeks, but Miami is playing better basketball than anyone in the NBA right now.
I think the Heat prove a point in this one.
