The Portland Trailblazers face an early exit tonight as the Suns come to town with a 3-2 lead in this first-round NBA Playoffs series. Can Portland, a narrow favorite, defend its home court?

Matchup: Suns at Blazers Game 6 (Suns lead 3-2)

Time: Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Rose Garden
Spread: Portland -1
Over/Under: 202

Phoenix grabbed a 3-2 series lead with Monday’s 107-88 win over Portland. When the Suns have won, they’ve won big, defeating the Blazers by 29, 19 and 19 points in their series victories.

The most recent win improved Phoenix to 7-3 in its last 10 games, both straight up and against the spread. The Suns are just 5-5 in their last 10 games against the spread when playing on the road.

The Suns got help from a few unexpected places in Game 5. Channing Frye and Jared Dudley stepped up with big games off the bench, as they scored 20 and 19 points, respectively.

Frye also hauled in eight boards. Amare Stoudemire paced the starters with 19 points, while Steve Nash recording his third double-double of the series with 14 points and 10 assists.

Phoenix also did an impressive job out-working Portland on the glass, as the Suns finished with a 41-29 rebounding advantage.

The Game 5 loss dropped Portland to 5-5 in its last 10 games. The Trailblazers have been pretty underwhelming on NBA odds, too, going 4-6 against the spread in their last 10 games.

Returning home to the Rose Garden probably won’t offer much of an advantage, at least not at the sportsbook—Portland has covered just five of its last 10 outings at home. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

Many Portland fans hailed Brandon Roy as a saviour when he made his miraculous return from knee surgery, but that’s rather unfair to the All-Star. He didn’t play very well in Game 5, which is more than understandable; Roy scored just five points on 2-7 shooting in 19 minutes of action.

Andre Miller led the Blazers with 21 points, while Jerryd Bayless scored 17.

LeMarcus Aldridge failed to follow up his huge Game 4 performance and managed just 17 points and four rebounds.

Roy could start tonight, but he simply isn’t right. The Suns are going to push the ball hard like they did in Game 5;

Phoenix will finish things off tonight in spectacular fashion.
