Free Playoffs Predictions: 2015 NBA Finals Exact Matchup Future Lines

Gambling on NBA Future Lines?

We are down to the Final Four for the NBA and as it turns out it is pretty chalky with the top two seeds from each conference remaining.

There are now only four possible matchups for the NBA Finals including the one that everyone has pegged and wants to see ever since Golden State got off to their hot start.

Let’s take a look at each of the possibilities and where the value may be.

Cleveland/Golden State 1/2

Once it became obvious that Golden State was the best team in the West this is the matchup everyone was predicting.

It would make for tremendous entertainment value but I can’t suggest you take this bet.

The Warriors are up 1-0 in their series against Houston but as this is being written Atlanta and Cleveland have yet to start. There is no value on this kind of bet and there is a real chance the Hawks challenge and beat the Cavs. It is on the board but what is the point.

Atlanta/Golden State 2/1

Even before they took the opener I was sold on Golden State and clearly the oddsmakers are too given the odds they have presented.

As such this one hinges on Atlanta who I must admit have looked shaky at times during these playoffs.

They may not have a stopper for LeBron James but I still think they could win the series. They are small favourites in game one on Wednesday night and the winner of the opener will be key.

I don’t like their chances of coming back in the series but you can sprinkle a little on this one with a chance to double your money. For me this is the best value bet.

Cleveland/Houston 10/1

LeBron vs. the Beard…sounds fun. Odds are LBJ is going to hold up his end of the bargain but James Harden has a lot of work to do.

This is still kinda new to him and the playoffs have shown that he can, but does not always rise to the occasion.

I know this is more probable than the scenario below but since Houston is the least likely team to advance right now I would rather take a shot at a payoff that is nearly double in size. It is hard to make any argument for this matchup.

Atlanta/Houston 18/1

Banking on a Finals that has neither Cleveland or Golden State is a bold choice.

[dfads params=’groups=63741&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Sure I love that 18/1 payout and it is not like you have to guess amongst a huge group of teams but there is a reason the oddsmakers are putting up those odds.

You could even make an argument that the league would be in cahoots too, there is no way that this is would be the Finals they would want (and there are always rumours this league is pulling the strings – though neither the Knicks or the Lakers won the draft lottery).
