Its tough to completely say they’re back following their sweep of the Los Angeles teams. However Lebron and Irving looked unstoppable in Friday nights victory over the Clippers. They’ll be tested once again as they welcome in the Chicago Bulls to Cleveland for a TNT Monday night showdown.

Rose and the Bulls look to get back on track following their stumble up at home vs Atlanta.
Chicago
The Bulls realize this is going to be their toughest stretch of basketball coming up. With games against top tier teams in the NBA, they’re going to have to play much better than they have as of late. Losers of 5 out of their last 7, Chicago looks to right the ship when they head to Cleveland on Monday. Chicago will be playing 5 of their next 7 on the road.
The Bulls will need to adjust to life with out C Joakim Noah, who again will be absent come Monday. Noah continues to battle with an ankle injury and will miss his 3rd straight contest. Noah did have an MRI on his injured ankle and it came back good.

He continues to work in practice in hopes of getting back during this tough stretch for the Bulls.
Meanwhile, C Pau Gasol continues to try and carry the load down low for Chicago. Gasol had another spectacular showing on Saturday as he went for 22 points and 15 rebounds.
Rose also had a nice showing as he went for 23 points, 10 assists, and grabbed 8 rebounds. Even though Chicago is getting some solid contributions from it’s main guys, they are having long droughts throughout the recent games where they fail to get stops and hit shots.
Chicago brings a 15-5 road record into Monday’s contest.
Cleveland
You can’t say things are good in Cleveland. In fact, they’re still far from with all the speculations flying around. That being said, Lebron and Irving took matters into their own hands on Friday night in the 2nd leg of their back-to-back when they handle Chris Paul and the Clippers. Cleveland scored 126 points in the victory, with Lebron and Irving having 69 of those. Kevin Love did not play as he sat out with back spasms. He is questionable for Monday’s game.
Although Cleveland dropped 126 themselves, they still struggled defensively once again. Allowing 121 points, they’re season average continues to climb as they now allow 100.7 points against (18th).
Stepping up with Lebron and Irving on Friday was also Tristan Thompson. Thompson scored 24 and grabbed 12 rebounds in the victory. It seems as if the acquisition of Mozgov has taken some of the pressure off Thompson and has allowed him to relax. They’ll need both Thompson and Mozgov to hold the fort down in the paint against Gasol in Monday’s matchup.

Cleveland will look to take back 2nd place in the NBA Central Division as they sit a .5 game behind Milwaukee. They currently sit 5.5 back of 1st place Chicago.
