A win at Chicago would help that argument.

Toronto

The Raptors are coming into this one with the best record in the Eastern Conference and a 6 game winning streak.

They seemed to have figured out how to play well without their leading scorer Demar Derozan, showing that they have as much or more depth as any team in the league.

This is a big one for Toronto.

One of their few losses was to Chicago at home and they are looking to prove a point. they might get lucky and not have to play a Bulls squad at full strength but either way they should be motivated.

They are also on a back to back so it might so expect more contributions from the bench in this one.

In beating the Knicks yesterday they got not one but two 20 points performances from reserve guard Lou Williams and Greivis Vazquez.

Add that to the 40 points they got from Kyle Lowry and Terrence Ross and it is hard to find a better collection of perimeter talent.

This team can really score and will put pressure on Chicago.

Chicago

The Bulls are playing well right now.

They have won 5 of 6 and in their most recent game they went on the road and beat Memphis, without Derrick Rose in the lineup.

He was out of the lineup due to illness and it does not look like he will play on Monday night either.

Without him they proved their depth but to be fair they have been getting used to playing and winning without him and healthy or not they will manage his minutes all season long.

They may not have the best record in the East but they could be the best team.

Speaking of that depth Aaron Brooks and Nikola Mirotic stepped off the bench and scored 44 points against Memphis.

Add that to the 31 scored by Jimmy Butler and you can see how they got the victory even without Rose and key reserve Taj Gibson.

This year’s team seems to have a much better offensive flow to it but they can still dig in on the defensive end when they need to.

Even though the Raptors are on a back to back I think they nip the Bulls in this one for a little payback.
