Maybe this is the kind of game Milwaukee can win this season.

Milwaukee

The Bucks are a pleasant surprise and have maintained their good fortune longer than I would have guessed though that could be aided by the fact that they reside in the Eastern Conference.

Heading into this one they are on a two game winning streak including a very nice win at Phoenix, a team I would not though they had a chance against.

They have a great opportunity to keep the good times rolling on this trip to Sac-Town. Sometimes timing is everything.

In the win over Phoenix the Bucks showed their depth as 4 players stepped off the bench and scored in double figures.

Rookie Jabari Parker left the game due to injury but perhaps this result illuminated the greatest strength of the Bucks is that they are not reliant on any one player to dominate.

I am not sure you can become elite that way but their depth is a big reason they are not swimming with the 76ers like they did a year ago.

Sacramento

The Kings have lost 4 in a row and have struggled mightily without their star center in the lineup.

Because it is not a bad idea to set up operating parameters I am staying away from these guys until DeMarcus Cousins is back and contributing. With him they can surprise even the best of teams.

Without him it is very difficult to know how their offense is going to be and they will definitely get pushed around too.

I am not saying he is the best player in the league but he is as important as anybody else is to their team.

The Kings were already hurting inside without Cousins but now it looks like Omri Casspi will also be out of action against the Bucks.

Casspi is far from a star but he is an aggressive player and this team needs that, especially with Boogie out of the lineup.

Look for Rudy Gay to try and takeover and that means trouble for Sacramento.

Unless the like of Ben McLemore or Nik Stauskas are hitting shots they are in real trouble.

NBA Prediction:  Odds are OFF

The Parker injury stings the Bucks but there is no reason not to keep fading Sacramento.

4* FREE NBA Score prediction:  Milwaukee 98 – Kings 93

The loss of Cousins is much greater (literally) for the Kings and they are in a funk. As long as this number isn’t too big when it is released go with the road team.
