Now that they have their attention though it is going to be harder to keep avoiding elimination.
Houston
In the first quarter of game four the Rockets played as good as quarter as you could imagine.

The ball was flying through the net and you would have never have guessed they had been dominated by the Warriors just two days prior.
However, now the series goes back to Oakland and it stands to reason the Warriors might be a little sharper.
They may have some momentum going for them now and they also will have Dwight Howard who avoided a possible suspension.

The whole team was hot early but there is no doubt that James Harden was the star on Monday.
Rebounding from a terrible game he scored a game high 45 points, forcing the Rockets into game five.
He was a liability from the free throw line but from the field Josh Smith was a contributor making 7 of 8 shots.
He still makes questionable plays but that is where they need him.
Golden State
The loss on Monday was not good but I guess not a total surprise given they were up 3-0 and on the road.
Golden State probably played their worst quarter of the year in the first but it was a good sign that they came back in the second and held it pretty steady after that.
It was not a good showing but it could have been a lot worse. It is hard to believe but they actually made 20 threes in the game and still lost by a chunk.
They would be wise to close this thing out before the Rockets get any more momentum.
The star of the game for the Warriors last time was Draymond Green who has 21 points and 15 rebounds.
The Splash Brothers weren’t terrible but neither Curry or Thompson got real hot. Sure they each made six three but their overall shooting was not great and they needed to provide some answers early and it didn’t happen.

The last game was at a breakneck pace. I am curious what GS wants to do back at home.
