This one should be worth staying up late for.
Golden State
The Warriors had a stinker of a performance in their last game losing by 10 points to the Lakers on the road.

It was much worse throughout the game as they pushed in the 4th quarter to make it respectable.
At 23-4 they still have the best record in the league by a comfortable margin but they have lost 2 of their last 4.
I imagine they may be stating in LA for Christmas eve because they are right back at Staples for this game against the Clippers.
Even though they have only 4 losses they have had a two game losing streak this season.

The one good note from the loss to the Lakers is that David Lee appears to be rounding into form.
It was just his second game back from injury and he was able to contribute 12 points and 7 rebounds in less than 20 minutes of action.
Obviously the Warriors had a lot of success without him but they are a better and more diverse team with him in the lineup.
Especially against a Clippers team that has some size up front.
Los Angeles
The Clippers found out something that lots of teams have been learning this season and that is the Hawks are pretty good.
L.A. dropped their final game before Christmas on the road in Atlanta.
They should be happy to return home as they have lost 3 of their last 4, all on the road.
They keep hoping the Warriors will slow down their pace but that is not showing a lot of signs of happening and the Clippers are stuck in second place. Even if they win this one they have a lot of ground to make up.
L.A. wants to score but they have lost their last 2 games while averaging 111 points so they need to pay more attention at the defensive end too.
Usually the only guy who plays both sides of the court is DeAndre Jordan, who is following up last year breakout with an even better season – he is making 70% of his shot and rebounding like crazy.

The starting lineup is loaded but this team may not have the depth needed to be a contender.
