Boston has a weird mix so they are hard to prepare for.
Cleveland
The Cavs may wind up being the team most think they can be but they are certainly not there yet.

Thus far they have been anything but spectacular and it appears the process of finding a system in which LeBron and the rest of the team can thrive is going to take a little longer.
It has not been terrible as they are 3-3.
I think the question that is not being asked enough is whether the new coach they have is the guy to bring them out of this or not. He has no NBA background so he is as much an unknown as anything else.
LeBron James is putting up so-so numbers as the Cavs work through this process.
You know he is going to find a way to get his so it is really how the others are going to work around him. Kyrie Irving seems to be bristling the most but his numbers are kind of where they always are.

The guy who has really dropped off is Dion Waiters. He missed the last one and they won easily…those two facts might be connected.
Boston
The Celtics are an interesting team to say the least. They are 5th in scoring even though their point guard can’t shoot and they play a power forward who is closer to 6’5” than 6’10”.
This team is super young so it is no surprise that they are going to be up and down with their performances but the bigger problem is that their defense is terrible.
Rajon Rondo can be a defensive presence at PG but nobody else in their lineup is known for getting after people.
Their top pick Marcus Smart, should be a good player but he has gotten off to a terrible start.
I think he is used to being the top player on every team he has ever played on and is struggling to find his way. A game against the more experienced Cavs hardly seems like the right spot but if it gets out of hand we could see a lot of him and other developing reserve players.
