Sportsbook.com NBA Finals Odds: Game 5

The Magic are a 2 1/2 point favorite in the Sportsbook.com Game 5 NBA Finals odds. Plus they’re down to their last chance, facing a tough uphill battle to overcome the 3-1 series deficit…

NBA Betting Odds: Magic Favored In Uphill Battle

The Orlando Magic opened as 2 ½-point favorites but it’s a good bet that most bettors will have their action on the Los Angeles Lakers when tip-off rolls around on Sunday.

You can place your bets on potentially the final game of the NBA Season right now on our Live NBA Odds page and follow the latest percentages on each side on the NBA Betting Trends page.

Orlando is down to their last chance, facing a tough uphill battle to overcome the 3-1 series deficit.

The Magic find themselves in this predicament because they failed to match Lakers intensity in second half of Game 4 and scored a grand total of 42 points in last 29 minutes.Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

Orlando is 14-5 ATS when playing with two days rest this season but must feed the ball to Howard, who must be decisive and go to the basket with authority. Howard has to be powerful and demanding as evil events often occur (seven turnovers in last contest) when he has the ball for two seconds or more.

Avenging a home loss against an opponent, Orlando is 21-8 ATS, but unless they do all the little things, they won’t improve that record.

What makes this a challenging wager is the Lakers mindset as they haven’t always brought their A-game on the road this postseason. However, the purple-clad team from L.A. has been a brilliant road underdog, with an 11-3 ATS record this season.

The Lake Show hasn’t been as profitable on Sunday’s with a 3-7 ATS record and is 13-3-1 UNDER on this day of the week.

Game 5 starts at 8pm ET with the underdog now 8-1 against the spread when these teams compete against one another.

The Lakers did what everyone expected them to do, beat Orlando in a convincing fashion. They were clearly the better team and Kobe was on a personal mission. Congratulations to LA on winning their 15th NBA Title
