Point guard Chauncey Billups also has a sprained ankle and is questionable for Tuesday night, although he is more likely to play. Also, center Nene is dealing with a foot injury while Chris Andersen and Aaron Afflalo are also battling some minor injuries.
Even though only four teams have won at the Pepsi Center in Denver this year, sportsbook odds makers know that he Nuggets might be ripe for the picking right about now.
The Mavericks are 2.5 games behind the Nuggets and will have a good opportunity to win in Denver given the injuries.
The Mavericks are 16-10 on the road, which is one of the better road records in the NBA, but they are still just a step behind the NBA’s elite teams.
They have been the subject of many trade rumors recently and they have been linked to Kevin Martin and Andre Iguodala. The Mavericks need a reliable secondary scorer to Dirk Nowitzki and right now, the contributors are various depending on the night.
