The Eastern Conference Finals matchup between the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat shifts to South Beach this Sunday night for Game 3 of this best-of-seven series. Tip-off from the American Airlines Arena is set for 8:30 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast nationally on TNT.

Chicago had a chance to take a two game lead but a late 12-2 run by Miami led to a 95-85 defeat that knotted the series at one game apiece. The Bulls came into Wednesday night’s game as a 2 ½-point home favorite and the total stayed well ‘under’ the 181 point line. They are now 7-6 against the spread in the playoffs overall and are 3-2 ATS on the road.

Derrick Rose remains the key for Chicago’s chances not only in this game, but in this series. He put up 28 points and shot 45.5 percent from the field in Sunday’s 103-82 romp as a 2 ½-point home favorite, but was a dreadful 7-for-23 from the floor in Game 2. The Bulls will also need to try and get Carlos Boozer more involved as he spent the majority of Wednesday night’s fourth quarter on the bench.

The key to Miami’s turn around in Game 2 was its ability to score some easy points underneath. The Heat outscored Chicago 50-34 in the paint and won the battle under the boards with 35 defensive rebounds verse just 24 for the Bulls. LeBron James followed up a less than stellar performance in Game 1 with a game-high 29 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in Wednesday’s win.

This was the Heats’ first win over Chicago this season in five games. They lost all three regular season games straight-up and were 0-2-1 ATS. Miami is now an even 6-6 ATS this postseason overall, but it is 4-2 ATS at home. The total has gone ‘over’ in seven of the 12 games and is split in this series at 1-1.

With the series shifting to the bright lights of Miami, it is a chance for the Big Three to finally show off their talents on the big stage. Stick with the Heat and a big night from LeBron and D Wade to gain the 2-1 edge in this series.

The Pick: Miami -5.5
