Cavs and Bulls – Pick and Analysis

The Cleveland Cavaliers (30-6 SU, 26-10 ATS, 17-19 O/U) have won three consecutive games, covering the spread for my beloved BetUS NBA sports betting enthusiasts each time out. The young Chicago Bulls (17-22 SU, 17-22 ATS, 21-17-1 O/U) snapped their two-game losing streak the last time they took the floor, beating the struggling Toronto Raptors 102-98 on Wednesday.

Tonight, the Central Division rivals will renew hostilities in the BetUS Sportsbook when they meet at the United Center in Chicago.

The Cavaliers beat the snot out of the Memphis Grizzlies 102-87 on Tuesday as superstar LeBron James recorded a triple-double with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists while shooting guard Delonte West added 19 points.

“You have to put so much attention on LeBron,” Chicago coach Vinny Del Negro said. “There’s probably nothing he hasn’t seen. When you double team him, he’s such a good passer, he gets everyone else involved.”

The Bulls held off a late surge by the Raptors to win on Wednesday and cover the spread as a 4.5-point road underdog as rookie point guard Derrick Rose scored a team-high 25 points while forwards Luol Deng and Thabo Sefalosha each added 16 points.

“He was feeling it,” Deng said about Rose. “Just give him the ball and get out of the way.”

Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my in-depth analysis and NBA Free Pick:

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Chicago’s last 6 games when playing Cleveland
The total has gone OVER in 4 of Chicago’s last 5 games when playing at home against Cleveland
The total has gone OVER in 12 of Chicago’s last 17 games

NBA Odds

Cleveland Cavaliers -8½ -110
Chicago Bulls +8½ -110

Over 194½ -110
Under 194½ -110

Analysis: Have no fear Underdog is here. No. I’m just kidding beloved NBA sports betting fanatics! Let me ‘keep it real’ by saying I fully expect the Cavs and James to win this game by double digits and cover the spread against a Bulls team that has a slew of talented players, but no true superstar or team leader.

I also like the Under in a big way as I expect the Cavaliers to stifle the Bulls while keeping the style of play at their pace.
