NBA Betting – Bulls vs. Trailblazers

Free pick and preview plus NBA betting odds and basketball lines for the matchup featuring the Chicago Bulls and the Portland Trailblazers…

Oden and the Blossoming Blazers Host Rose, rebuilding Bulls

The Portland Trail Blazers (6-5 SU, 6-5 ATS, 7-4 O/U) have dropped two of their last three in the BetUS Sportsbook. The Chicago Bulls (5-6 SU, 7-4 ATS, 5-6 O/U) are coming off a loss in their last outing snapping the team’s modest two-game winning streak for fans and BetUS NBA sports betting backers.

Both young ballclubs will be trying to pick up a win on Wednesday when they battle at Rose Garden.

The Blazers fell to the Golden State Warriors 111-106 on Tuesday, failing to cover the spread as a 1.5-point road underdog in the process but are back at home where they are undefeated in three games this season.

Brandon Roy scored a team-high 22 points but the Blazers got an even bigger contribution in the form of a 22-point, 10-rebound effort from center Greg Oden in 29 minutes off the bench.

“Greg Oden did a great job just dominating the paint, doing what he does, getting us into more of a rhythm,” Roy said. “He is getting his confidence, which is good for our team.”

The Bulls are coming off a 116-109 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday but covered the spread as a 13-point road underdog as rookie point guard Derrick Rose scored 25 points and dished out nine assists.

Backcourt mate, Ben Gordon added 23 points but shot just 6-for-22 from the field an no other Bulls player besides backup center Aaron Gray reached double figures in scoring.

“I thought we forced some things inside,” Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro said. “It was kind of an up-tempo game at times and we got a little sloppy with the basketball.”

Analysis: The Blazers have yet to lose at home and I don’t expect them to start doing so tonight. I fully expect the Blazers to come out with a fantastic effort tonight while narrowly covering the spread against a Bulls team that has too many players that play the same positions. Take the Blazers and the Under in this matchup NBA sports betting fanatics.
