Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers Preview
The Celtics (46-16) have won both match ups against the 76ers (33-31) this season, but both games were in December and since January 21st the 76ers are 16-6 and are now in the 7th position in the Eastern Conference standings. NBA lines have the Celtics as 2-point favorites in this game with a total of 191.
In their last games both teams played on Wednesday with the Celtics suffering an embarrassing defeat losing to the L.A. Clippers at home 108-103 and the 76ers losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-105.
The 76ers have been one of the best betting teams in the league going 40-23-1 ATS while the Celtics are only 29-31-2 ATS. The Celtics have only covered the spread one time in their last 5 games against the 76ers.
The 76ers have not beaten the Celtics at home in almost 4 years, but they are playing well winning 7 of their last 10 games. Their only 3 losses in that span have to come to the teams of the Magic, Mavericks, and Thunder. They can pick up a ton of confidence if they can beat the defending Eastern Conference champions tonight. The Celtics are still led by the Big 3 and they are still trying to jell with their new acquisitions. While Delonte West and Glen Davis will not play in this game because of injuries they may get Shaq back tonight.

The 76ers are a solid team, but they will not be able to play good D on the Big 3 and I think Kevin Garnett (15.2 ppg) and new C Nenad Krstic, who has scored in double figures in his last 5 games, will play well since the 76ers do not have good interior defense.
