NBA Betting parlay – Thunder vs. Grizzlies / Clippers vs. Warriors

NBA Thursday Parlay – April 24

The opening round of this year’s NBA Playoff continue this Thursday night with three games on the slate. After breaking down the betting trends and stats for all three matchups, I have come up with two winners that go together perfectly for this week’s NBA Playoffs Two-Team Parlay. [ad-4468020]

The following is a brief look at both games based on lines by BetOnline.

Game 1: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Pointspread: Oklahoma City -1.5
Total Line: 190

ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

Oklahoma City started the playoffs looking like the No. 2 seed in the West and the second favorite to win the Western Conference this year with a solid 100-86 victory over the Grizzlies as an eight-point favorite at home.

The Thunder were dealt a hard lesson in just how good Memphis can be in Monday’s 11-105 overtime loss as seven-point home favorites. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook continued to dominate the scoring for the Thunder with a combined 65 points this past Monday, but it still was not enough to get the win.

This series now shifts to Memphis for Thursday night’s Game 3 and conventional wisdom might lead you to believe that Oklahoma City should run away with this one following Monday’s loss. I am going against the betting public in this matchup with a play on the Grizzlies taking the unexpected 2-1 series lead with a SU win.

They have already proven they can beat this team by trading points, but on Thursday night it will be the Grizzlies’ defense that makes the biggest noise by shutting Oklahoma City’s high-powered attack down.

Game 2: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors

Pointspread: Los Angeles – 1.5
Total Line: 215

ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

The Clippers fell asleep at the wheel in this best-of-seven series opener with a stunning 109-105 loss as 7.5-point favorites on their home court.

They obviously took this unexpected wake-up call seriously by hammering the Warriors 138-98 as eight-point home favorites in Game 2 this past Monday.

The total went OVER the closing 211-point line in that first contest and it crushed the 212.5-point line in Game 2.

The Warriors only real chance to regain the edge in this series with a win on their home court this Thursday is to try and outscore Los Angeles in a shootout.

Golden State finished the NBA regular season ranked 10th in the league in points allowed, but that has not been the case lately when you consider that they have now allowed 100 points or more in seven of their last eight outings.

The Clippers are just too big, fast and strong to slow down so players such as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will have no choice but to try and light it up for the Warriors to get the win.

This sets things up perfectly for a play on the OVER 215 in the back-end of this parlay.
