NBA Betting parlay – Bulls vs. Hawks / Pistons vs. Pacers

NBA Wednesday Parlay – April 2

The month of the April marks the countdown to the end of the regular season and the beginning of this season’s quest for an NBA title. [ad-4468020]

After cashing-in last week’s parlay I am ready to release two more picks that come together perfectly to form this week’s ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’. The following is a brief look at both games based on lines by BetOnline.

Game 1: Chicago Bulls vs. Atlanta Hawks

Pointspread: Chicago -2
Total Line: 187

ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

The Bulls continue to jockey for position in the Eastern Conference standings with a straight-up 7-3 record in their last 10 games.

They are currently tied with Toronto for the No. 3 playoff seed heading into this game. Many NBA experts believe that Chicago could be the sleeper team in this year’s postseason and I would tend to agree.

Keep in mind that the Bulls may be playing lights-out on the court, but they have been no friend to bettors with a 2-6-1 record against the spread in their last nine games.

Atlanta heads into the month of April with one wheel left on the bus after winning just seven SU games in their last 27 contests. It has been no bargain to bet on either with a 1-6 ATS record in its last seven games. The key play in this matchup is the UNDER on the total line.

The total has stayed UNDER in seven of Chicago’s last nine games and it has stayed UNDER in the Hawks’ last six games. When these two teams get together, the total has stayed UNDER in eight of the last 10 meetings.

Game 2: Detroit Pistons vs. Indiana Pacers

Pointspread: Indiana -10
Total Line: 190.5

ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

Detroit tried to remain competitive for a good part of the NBA regular season, but it looks like it has raised the white flag with just three SU wins in its last 14 games.

The Pistons are coming off a 116-111 victory over Milwaukee this past Monday night, but they could not cover the seven-point spread at home.

That leaves them just 4-10 ATS over this same stretch of games. The last time they faced the Pacers was at home on March 14 and they lost 112-104 as five-point underdogs.

Indiana’s late season slide continues with losses to Washington, Cleveland and San Antonio both SU and ATS in its last three games.

The loss to the Cavaliers as 5.5-point road favorites was bad enough, but the Pacers may have hit rock bottom in Monday night’s 103-77 beatdown at the hands of San Antonio as 4.5-point underdogs at home.

Normally I would have very little confidence in a team with a 2-17 record ATS in its last 19 games, but with its back against the wall I am expecting a much better showing from Indiana this Wednesday night against a bitter division rival.

It also helps that the Pacers are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
