Matt Kenseth raced his way to Victory Lane last Sunday at Michigan to post his third Sprint Cup point-race win of the year.

Kevin Harvick added yet another Top 3 finish to the 2015 resume by taking second and Martin Truex Jr. finished third.

The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Saturday night’s Sprint Cup race at Bristol based on betting odds provided by Bovada.

The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)

Matt Kenseth is one of three favorites to win on Saturday night, but he is my top pick at +600 betting odds.

Back-to-back wins on this season’s Sprint Cup schedule have already been accomplished twice and one of the main reasons I like the No. 20 car’s chances to mirror this feat on Saturday night is this team’s return to its winning form.

After posting seven point-race victories in 2013, it was shutout of Victory Lane last year.

Starting with a win at Bristol in the first race here this season, Kenseth is clearly back to his winning ways and I am banking on the season sweep at this track.

The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)

Ever since he ran off an incredible string of three victories and four other Top 3 finishes in a span of eight races earlier in the year, Jimmie Johnson has been uncharacteristically quiet with just one Top 3 run in his last nine point races.

He has been opened at +1000 betting odds to win his fifth point race of the season behind the wheel of the No. 48 car and I really like those odds as my top contender.

One of those earlier Top 3 runs was on the short track at Bristol with a second-place finish in the first race here. This followed a fourth-place finish in last year’s night race event.

The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)

I have been reaching lately with my longshot plays looking for a big score and all I have been is way off base.

This week I am going to temper things a bit with a play on Kasey Kahne at +2800.

He has been a forgotten man the past two seasons after such a promising start to his Sprint Cup career, but I am hoping that this Saturday night he can channel his performance at Bristol during the 2013 season.

That year, the No. 4 car won the first race here and then proceeded to take second in this event.

In his first race here this year, he fell to 37th after getting caught-up in a wreck.
