Brad Keselowki is already in the next round after winning at Chicago and Joey Logano is moving on as well with a win last week at New Hampshire. Kyle Larson was in the mix for the second-straight week after taking second in last week’s race and Kevin Harvick finished third.

The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Sunday’s race based on odds provided by Top Sportsbooks.

The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)

Jimmie Johnson is always near the top of the list when it comes to posting odds to win a Sprint Cup race, but he is at the top of the list this week at 4/1 and for good reason.

[dfads params=’groups=63791&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Forget the fact that he has already won six career Sprint Cup titles and that the No. 48 car is in striking distance again with 2080 overall points that are good enough to hold down the fourth spot in the current standings.

What makes Johnson the clear favorite to win on Sunday is an average finishing position of 8.3 at this track and a resume filled with nine Sprint Cup victories at Dover including one in his first race here this season.

The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)

There are a number of solid contenders to win this week’s race, but I am going with the desperation factor for this week’s pick.

Denny Hamlin is sitting in 13th place in the current standings with 2049 points and the only thing that can guarantee that the No. 11 car’s run in this year’s Chase does not end on Sunday is with a victory at the Monster Mile. His odds to get it done has been set at 16/1.

Hamlin finished sixth at Chicago in the first race of this year’s Chase, but a 37th-place finish last Sunday put a serious dent in his title plans. There is some added value in these odds given that he did finish fifth this season in the first race at Dover.

The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)

Kyle Larson’s name popped-up a few times this season with a solid track record of top-five finishes, but the lack of a Sprint Cup win kept him out of the Chase.

He must be relishing the role of spoiler with back-to-back top three finishes in the first two races in this year’s Chase, so why not try and cash-in on his 20/1 odds to break through this week with an outright win.

Running in his first full-time season in the Sprint Cup series, Larson finished 11 in his first trip around the Monster Mile earlier in the year.
