Texas Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox MLB Preview & Free Pick

Rangers vs Red Sox MLB Betting + Handicapping Picks

The Rangers made a major investment in Ryan Dempster. He was blasted in his first start, and you can bet he wants to make a better impression in this one. Jon Lester has been the Red Sox Ace for several years, but he hasn’t pitched like it this season.

Which pitcher can turn it around Tuesday night at Fenway?

Texas has the deepest lineup in baseball, but they simply haven’t been hitting the ball of late. Josh Hamilton has been having some bad at-bats, and he certainly isn’t on a tear like he was early in the year. The Rangers are struggling with men in scoring position, which isn’t something this team is accustomed to.

Michael Young isn’t coming up with the big hits in clutch situations like normal. Still, with all the negatives said about this group; you have to think they are going to breakout in a big way soon. Can they do it at Fenway Park in Boston?

Boston has gotten much healthier over the last few weeks. David Ortiz is still out, but Ellsbury and Crawford are back in the lineup. Dustin Pedroia is also the healthiest he has been all year. [dfads params=’groups=10&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Boston has been piling up the runs all season, thanks to lots of clutch hitting from role players. Adrian Gonzalez started the season slowly, but he is hitting the ball extremely well right now.

The problem for Boston all season has been the pitching staff. Lester and Beckett are both thought to be top of the line pitchers, and neither of them have performed well this year.

Lester has been consistently hit hard, and he must find a way to turn it around if Boston is going to make a playoff run.

This may be the two deepest lineups in baseball right now. Look for quite a few runs to be put on the board in this one.

Both pitchers have been struggling, and these offenses can score in bunches.
