Arizona
Arizona missed a chance to get to .500 last night.

This game was partially delayed but when they retook the field it was all Colorado as a 3-1 lead turned into a 10-5 loss.
Such is the impact of Coors Field. Arizona is a surprise to be even within spitting distance of a solid record but their big bats are getting them by.
This team keeps tinkering with its lineup having jettisoned Bronson Arroyo to the Braves. This move should have no immediate impact and it is not a give up. Just prudent.

Going from the AL to the NL can provide a bit of a bump but the Diamondbacks have yet to see that with Allen Webster.
Webster has two starts this season and has been hit pretty hard, especially the last time at home against the Angels.
He has to do a better job with his control. In both his starts he has walked more than he has struck out.
At Coors you definitely do not want to have more men on base than need be.
Colorado
The Rockies may not be good but they are definitely not boring, especially at home.
They come into tonight on a three game winning streak and have scored 10 runs in each of the last two games.
The pitching is the worst in the league but the lineup is lethal, especially with Nolan Arenado taking a huge leap forward this year – he leads the team with 19 dingers, well ahead of the likes of Tulo and CarGo.
Once those guys start approaching their career norms this offense will be that much better.
In his first season with the Rockies David Hale has yet to establish himself.
Unlike Webster above he has been stingy with his bases on balls (4 walks in 5 starts) but he is just giving up a lot of hits, including the long ball.
His best start of the season was his first one and since then they have not been all that impressive.

Even when he struck out 9 Astros in his last start he gave up 5ER over 5IP.
