A Lil Dumaani – - 7/2 fair online betting odds
The likely tepid chalk in this race has slowly been on the improve since breaking his maiden at Del Mar. The crazy thing about A Lil Dumaani is that he’s actually improved speed figure wise from race to race. It happens with horses but it doesn’t happen often. If he improves even slightly in this, then he should win it.
Swift Demand – - 6/1 fair online betting odds
Swift Demand is coming off of an incredibly difficult race where he lost by 7 ½ lengths at 7 furlongs. This will be the second start of his form cycle. It means, of course, that he could improve and win this going away. I like Swift Demand in this at what should be good online wagering odds. The problem is that he’s a closer in a race without an abundance of speed. He should make a better run in this than he did in his last.
Wagering Strategy
I’m going with Steady Demand if he goes off anywhere close to those 5 to 1 online odds. I’m expecting his online odds to be higher in this since he’s coming off of a serious thrashing. I will use in exacta and trifecta boxes with Swift Demand and A Lil Dumaani.
