Thursday, November 6

Browns at Bengals
Week 10 Point Spread: Bengals -6

The Browns have won four of their last five games but they haven’t faced the quality of the Bengals over that span. Brian Hoyer has been good but prone to mistakes. Against an opportunistic Bengals defense expect that to be the difference. Cinci has won 14 straight regular season home games – that trend to continue.

Sunday, November 9

Jaguars vs. Cowboys
Week 10 Point Spread: OFF

The Cowboys definitely look like a different team without Tony Romo. The lines aren’t out yet and likely won’t be until Romo’s status for the weekend is clarified. If he plays expect this game to be a romp. If Romo sits the Jags should be able to cover what figures to be an enormous spread.

Dolphins at Lions
Week 10 Point Spread: Lions -2 1/2

The Fins were mighty impressive in their Week 9 beat down of the Chargers but now they face a rested Lions team that owns the best defense in the NFL. Add in the fact that Reggie Bush and Megatron look healthy and ready to terrorize and I like the Lions to make yet another statement.

Chiefs at Bills
Week 10 Point Spread: Chiefs -1 1/2

The Chiefs have looked very impressive lately – 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six games. The Bills are coming off a bye but will still be dealing with injuries to their top two running backs. KC is back to the ball control offense that has made them successful. Their top rated pass defense will be the difference here as the Bills are forced to throw without any sort of running game.

49ers at Saints
Week 10 Point Spread: Saints -5

The loser of this game could realistically find themselves OUT of the playoffs already! The 49ers offense is out of sync – period. Not a good sign when faced with the prospect of facing one of the league’s best offenses who are nearly unbeatable at home. The Niners won’t be able to score enough in this one.

Titans at Ravens
Week 10 Point Spread: Ravens -10

Baltimore, despite laying an egg on Sunday night still possesses one of the best defenses in the NFL. Against a rookie QB look for Baltimore to tee off on Tennessee’s underwhelming offense and the Ravens OK offense to do enough against a weak Tennessee defense. Simply put Baltimore is a different team at home.

Steelers at Jets
Week 10 Point Spread: Steelers -4 1/2

The Jets have lost eight straight games going 1-7 ATS over that span. With Big Ben playing the way he is this may be the easiest game on the schedule to call.

Falcons at Bucs
Week 10 Point Spread: Falcons -1

The Falcons are absolutely brutal on the road – they haven’t been much better at home either. But coming off a bye and playing arguably the worst team in the NFL (a team that they beat 56-14 in Week 3), the Falcons SHOULD be able to get it done. Julio Jones dominates in this one.

Broncos at Raiders
Week 10 Point Spread: Raiders +11 1/2

The Raiders are playing better ball that most people expect – it seems hard to believe that they are still winless. If nothing else Oakland is showing up each and every week and giving it their all. The Broncos could be in the midst of a mid-season lull and although I think they win, I like the Raiders to play hard and keep it close.

Rams at Cardinals
Week 10 Point Spread: Rams +7

Inter-divisional game should be closer than the 7 points. There is no doubt about which is the better team here but the Rams enter with a ton of confidence after a 13-10 win over San Fran on the road. I like the Cards to win but the Rams to cover.

Giants at Seahawks
Week 10 Point Spread: Giants +9

Everyone is playing the defending champions tough – even the Raiders were able to keep it close last week. Seattle is 0-4 ATS in their last four games – I like the G-Men to put up a fight here in attempts to avenge a 23-0 home loss last year to the Hawks.

Bears at Packers
Week 10 Point Spread: Packers -7

The Bears are simply coming apart at the seams right now – nobody seems happy on the sidelines. It’s true that Matt Forte could dominate Green Bay’s league worst run defense but it is more likely that Aaron Rodgers has his way with Chicago’s 24th ranked pass defense. Sunday night has a chance to be a death blow on Chicago’s playoff aspirations.

Monday, November 10

Panthers at Eagles
Week 10 Point Spread: Panthers +6

I expect this line to move as people actually comes to terms with the fact that Mark Sanchez is the starter for Philadelphia for the foreseeable future. Cam Newton is better than he played last week in a loss to New Orleans – expect him to show his eagerness to prove his doubters wrong and guide the Panthers to victory. Philadelphia is a much different team without Foles at the helm!
