Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (+5½)

It is pretty hard to imagine what the crowd in Seattle is going to be like on Opening Night. Seattle, in case you don’t already know is a pretty good football team and they are money at home.

The Packers were in a similar spot last year – 5 1/2 point dogs on the road in San Francisco – the Niners easily won that game. Seattle will be pumped – at the expense of the Green Bay Packers.

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (+3)

You gotta think that the Falcons will be out to make a big statement in this game – with a healthy offense they could make this thing interesting. The Saints were just 1-7 on the road last year – I’m going with Atlanta.

Minnesota Vikings vs. St. Louis Rams Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (+6)

The Rams season depended solely on the health of Sam Bradford – with whomever is replacing him at QB St, Louis just doesn’t look like that scary a team. My guess is Adrian Peterson has himself a game and the Vikings win this one easily.

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-5½)

The Browns are getting a few points in this one – that’s for sure. But I like Big Ben and the Steelers who are 10-0 in the last 10 against Cleveland. They have won their last six meetings by 10 or more points.

Cleveland with Bryan Hoyer and without Josh Gordon is a pretty vanilla team.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (+11)

I can’t justify 11 points – Jacksonville covered in four of their last five road games last year.

Oakland Raiders vs. New York Jets Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-5)

The Raiders are officially the oldest team in the NFL and who knows who is going to start at QB for them! Geno Smith is a man on a mission – the Jets start out strong on Sunday and easily beat the Raiders at home.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (+2½)

Juicy game! Andy Dalton has a lot to prove in this game and the Ravens – they don’t look a whole lot better than they did last year. I like the Bengals to make a statement and easily cover the 2 1/2.

Buffalo Bills vs. Chicago Bears Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-6)

Buffalo is a disaster – they looked awful in the preseason. The Bears on the other hand should be on the cusp of a playoff run this year. Expect the Bears to start out strong – Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey will be dominant.

Washington vs. Houston Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (+2½)

The Houston defense should dominate – the pair of JJ Watt and Jadeveon Clowney will likely prove to be a nightmare for RG III and a possibly healthy Arian Foster could be the difference.
[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]
Tennessee Titans (+5) vs. Kansas City Chiefs Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-3½)

Something tells me the Chiefs are in for a bit of a decline this year and the Titans under Jake Locker may be the surprise of the season.

KC will play without Dwayne Bowe who is suspended and their sketchy secondary will likely be exposed immediately as the Titans cover the surprising 5 points.

New England Patriots (-4) vs. Miami Dolphins Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-4)

The Pats have gotten the better of the Fins in Miami winning five of the last seven matchups there. Although New England has a knack of starting slow, I like them to easily beat Miami and make an early statement in the AFC.

Carolina Panthers (-1) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-1)

Surprising that the Panthers are only a 1 point favorite in this one. Despite the rash of positive moves Tampa made during the offseason there is no doubt which is the better team here – Carolina.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-5½)

The Niners offense looked terrible during the preseason but have the honor of playing what could be the worst defense in the NFL in Week 1. The Niners were 6-1-1 on the road last season and kick 2014 off in style.
[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]
Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (+7)

Andrew Luck seems to save his best for the big games – he beat the Broncos at Mile High last year – he also beat the 49ers and the Seahawks – impressive. Call it a hunch but I think the Colts keep it close at very least.

New York Giants vs. Detroit Lions Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-4½)

The Giants looked dreadful in the preseason – zero offensive flow. On the flip side, Detroit’s offense looks just as potent as they did last year.

It is unfathomable to think the G-Men will score enough to keep up with Matt Stafford and the boys in Week 1.

San Diego Chargers vs. Arizona Cardinals Free Pick
Week 1 Point Spread: (-3½)

The Cardinals have a lot to prove this upcoming season and get a kick at a Chargers secondary that was brutal last year. Arizona’s defense is no joke – the proof will come Monday night.
