NFL Gambling - Jacksonville Enters Afternoon as Only Road Dog

The Jaguars have been one of the bigger disappointments this NFL betting season. When they visit Denver at INVESCO Field this weekend, it’ll be hard for any of their remaining betting backers to get on board. Jacksonville is 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS, with a point differential of -2.2.

Denver To Continue Winning Ways At Home

It’s not like Denver has been that much better to their investors. Denver stands at 1-3-1 ATS this season, but showed something different when they dismantled the Bucs last weekend. While the offense sputtered in the face of a stiff cover-2, the defense exploded and held the Bucs to only 13-points. For once this season, Denver showed that it could put the brakes on their opposition.

It might be easy for those that bet on Jacksonville Jaguars’ football to gleam behind Jacksonville’s vaunted rushing attack. After all, Denver does allow 134.0 yards per game on the ground. That’s not my concern. It’s Jay Cutler against a secondary that allowed Ben Roethlisberger to murder them last weekend. Your money should be behind Cutler and the surging Broncos while this streak stays hot.

NFL Betting Free Pick: Denver -3 (OVER)

Dallas’s Secondary Weak Against Cardinals

Pacman Jones is up to his buffoonery again, and now Terrence Newman is on the shelf nursing an abandon injury. To make matters worse, Dallas has sustained injuries to both Pat Watkins and Roy Williams, two of their hard-hitting safeties. These aren’t the kinds of things you want to hear when you’re visiting Kurt Warner and the Cardinals on the weekend.

Arizona averaged 282.6 yards per game through the air, making their almost inept rushing attack a non-factor. While you can make a case for Dallas’s front-seven to put pressure on Warner, it still shouldn’t generate enough confidence in Dallas as a betting favorite this weekend. They are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games and the Cardinals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games at home. Don’t look now, degenerates, but the Cardinals are becoming sexy picks for the OVER again.

NFL Betting Free Pick: Arizona +6.5 (OVER)

Green Bay Stumbles In To Seattle

I thought Aaron Rodgers was injured? Well apparently he isn’t, but that didn’t stop the Packers from losing to Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. There’s no better time to get back on track then by shellacking a team that has forgotten how to play defense. Free Week 6 NFL Gambling PicksThe 1-3 SU/ATS Seahawks have allowed an audacious 31.0 points against this season. While Green Bay isn’t the most reliable bet in town, they’re certainly a worthy pick with a tight line against Seattle.

NFL Betting Free Pick: Green Bay -1.5 (OVER)

Philadelphia Without Westbrook Against San Francisco

I know that every year Brian Westbrook gets hurt, and every year he’s always on the day-to-day injured report. But bruised ribs do not make life as a running-back any less torturous. Even as a stand-in Corel Buckhalter is marginal at best. All that being said, it’s hard to know what to expect from this Niners team as well.

San Francisco has continued to be one of the worst NFL teams to bet on, going 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games. Their point differential is -2.4, and only one team has failed to break the twenty-point mark against this supposedly talented defense. These are not positive indicators, just in case you were wondering.

The Eagles are coming off two shocking losses, and are hurting their betting investors in the process. Washington might be pretty good, and Chicago is certainly much better than we thought. But the Niners suck, and there’s no better way of putting it. I still believe that Philadelphia is an elite team, and they’ll get on track against San Francisco. Philly is 3-1 SU and ATS in their last 4 games against San Francisco.

NFL Betting Free Pick: Philadelphia -5 (UNDER)
