NFL Wagering Broncos @ Panthers

One team’s two-game winning streak is going to come to a halt BetUS NFL sports betting buffs!

That’s right NFL Sportsbook bettors, the Denver Broncos (8-5 SU, 4-8-1 ATS, 6-6-1 O/U) and the Carolina Panthers (10-3 SU, 7-5-1 ATS) have each won two straight games and will both be gunning for a victory on Sunday when they meet at Bank of America Stadium.

The Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 24-17 in Week 14, but failed to cover the spread in the BetUS Sportsbook as a 9-point home favorite last week.

Quarterback Jay Culter completed 32 of 40 passes for 286 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, hooking up with wide receiver Brandon Marshall 11 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns.

The Panthers scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter on Monday night to smack back their NFC South division rivals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-23 and cover the spread for backers as a 3-point home favorite in the process.

“People remember what you do in December,” Panthers coach John Fox said. “This was a big stage and I like the way our guys met that challenge.”

Quarterback Jake Delhomme completed 14 of 20 passes for 173 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions while running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart ran wild.

Williams scored two touchdowns and ran for 186 yards on 19 carries while Stewart added two more touchdowns and 115 rushing yards on 15 carries.

“It’s kind of what we’re built around,” Fox said. “I think we got bigger and more physical up front and both of those backs are pretty special.”

Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my in-depth analysis and NFL Free Pick:

Denver is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games
The total has gone OVER in 9 of Denver’s last 13 games on the road
Denver is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games on the road
The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Denver’s last 6 games
Carolina is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games at home
Carolina is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games
The total has gone OVER in 5 of Carolina’s last 6 games
The total has gone UNDER in 10 of Carolina’s last 14 games at home

NFL Odds

Denver Broncos +7½ -110
Carolina Panthers -7½ -110

Over 47½ -110
Under 47½ -110

Analysis: While the Carolina Panthers are the more ‘complete’ team in this matchup, I like the Denver Broncos to cover the spread with their high-powered offense. While the Broncos have several areas they need to address, they can score the ball if nothing else.

Take the Broncos to cover the spread narrowly while falling to the Panthers.
