Cappers Broncos vs. Jets Betting Trends + Pick

Preview and Week 13 NFL cappers matchup tips for this weeks Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

High-Flying Jets Host Perplexing Broncos

The Denver Broncos (6-5 SU, 3-7-1 ATS, 5-5-1 O/U) looked absolutely pathetic in losing to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday! The New York Jets (8-3 SU, 7-4 ATS, 6-4-1 O/U) are flying high after taking down the league’s last unbeaten team.

On Sunday, the longtime AFC rivals will each try to pick up an important victory when they square off at Giants Stadium.

The Broncos lost to Oakland 31-10, failing to cover the spread for BetUS Sportsbook members as an 8.5-point home favorite.

Quarterback Jay Cutler completed just 16 of 27 passes for 204 yards with not touchdown and one interception while running back Peyton Hillis rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.

“The only thing we won tonight was the penalty battle. They had more penalties than we did,” Broncos defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban said. “Other than that, they kicked our butts in every phase of the game.”

The Jets soundly defeated the Tennessee Titans, winning 34-13 to cover the spread for NFL sports betting backers as a 5.5-point road underdog.

“I’m not going to sit here and say we’ve established ourselves as the best team in football,” Favre said. “All it says is I think we beat the best team in football today, definitely if you go by record and the way that they’ve played. They have been the best team in football.”

Veteran quarterback Brett Favre went an efficient 25 for 32 for 224 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Running back Thomas Jones added 96 rushing yards on 27 carries while explosive back Leon Washington added 82 yards and two touchdowns on just 8 carries.

“Now people are going to start looking at us and say, ‘They are a team you have to reckon with,”‘ linebacker Bryan Thomas said.

“We are a very confident team anyway, but coming in here and doing this and getting it done, that can only help us,” Jets safety Kerry Rhodes said.

Over 47½ -110
Under 47½ -110

Analysis: The Denver broncos are having all sorts of trouble lately while the jets are really gaining confidence on both sides of the ball. While the outcome of this contest is not in doubt as I fully like the Jets to win, I’m thinking this is going to be one of those head-scratching games that the Broncos look really good in.

I don’t like them very much at the moment, but I say take the Denver Broncos to cover the spread with a surprisingly strong effort against Brett and the Jets. I also like the Over in this matchup despite the fact that the teams may not be playing in the best of weather conditions.
