2008 Champs Sports Bowl
This will mark the 27th straight bowl game for the Florida State Seminoles – the longest active streak in the nation. The ‘Noles will square off against the Wisconsin Badgers for the first time in program history. Since the 2006 football season, the bowl has matched teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big Ten Conference.
The Badgers are familiar to Florida as they appeared the 2006 and 2007 Capital One Bowl games and have found their way back to Orlando for the third time in four years.
Wisconsin (7-5, 3-5) endured a four-game losing streak early in the season. Florida State finished the season 8-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
