2008 Armed Forces Bowl: Air Force vs. Houston Preview

A rare bowl game that serves as a rematch of a game earlier in the year, the Air Force Falcons will try to beat the Houston Cougars for a second time December 31. The teams meet at Amon Carter Stadium in the Armed Forces Bowl.

Oddsmakers currently have the Cougars listed as 3½-point favorites versus the Falcons, while the game’s total is sitting at 64½.  

Two of the nation’s top offensive teams with a Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl history will be facing each other for the second-time this season on a neutral field as the University of Houston will meet the United States Air Force Academy here on New Year’s Eve at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl will be aired live on ESPN starting at 11 a.m. (CST).
