If you own Matt Stafford, Darren McFadden, Tim Hightower, Earnest Graham, Beanie Wells or Santana Moss, the Wire becomes double important.

Below is Dave B’s Week 7 Waiver Wire – Enjoy and Good pickins!

QBs

Tim Tebow – Denver Broncos – OK I’ve finally bought in! I resisted but I can’t deny that this guy is destined to make things happen.

John Beck – Washington Redskins – Beck was Ok in his first start of the season even impressing his coaches. Rex Grossman won’t be coming back to the starting role anytime soon – illness and ineffectiveness means that Beck is the starter on a decent Redskins team.

Christian Ponder – Minnesota Vikings – Ponder won himself the job with his performance on Sunday. He passed for 219 yards and two touchdowns while adding 31 yards on the ground. Ponder has upside and could pay off later in the season.

Others to Monitor: Matt Moore, Shaun Hill

RBs

Demarco Murray – Dallas Cowboys – Take your time coming back Felix! If he isn’t gone grab him immediately! Murray had 253 yards and a touchdown last week – nuff said!

Ryan Torain/Roy Helu – Washington Redskins – Tim Hightower is gone for the season. Mike Shanahan is still going to run the ball. Torain is the better option of the two but Helu is worth owning for sure as season wears on.

Delone Carter – Indianapolis Colts – Carter filled in for an injured Joseph Addai and did so admirably. He ran for 89 yards and a score on just 10 carries. Addai’s injury status is unknown but Carter may be a decent handcuff even if Addai can return sooner than later.

Knowshon Moreno – Denver Broncos – Willis McGahee is likely out for a week or two with injury. Let’s face it; Moreno may be a better fit in the Tim Tebow style of offense. The Broncos are going to run the ball for sure and Moreno has a chance to make up for all of his past disappointments. [ad-8469823]

Bernard Scott – Cincinnati Bengals – This is the week that Cedric Benson serves his suspension and this is the week that the Bengals get to go up against the Seattle Seahawks. Scott may only be good for one week but he will likely see 20-25 touches against Seattle.

Others to Monitor: LaRod Stephens-Howling/Alfonso Smith – Arizona Cardinals

WRs

Michael Jenkins – Minnesota Vikings – It is obvious who Christian Ponder’s favourite target is! Jenkins had 3 catches for 111 yards and a score on Sunday and is worth an add.

Jabar Gaffney – Washington Redskins – Santana Moss was injured on Sunday leaving Gaffney as the best receiving option for the Skins. He had decent chemistry with John Beck catching 4 balls for 68 yards on Sunday. If you are desperate, Gaffney is an OK pickup.

Steve Breaston – KC Chiefs – Breaston has at least 50 yards in four straight games including 64 on Sunday. How many of your WR1s can say that?

Others to Monitor – Dezmon Briscoe, Antonio Brown, Damaryius Thomas

TEs

Visanthe Shiancoe – Minnesota Vikings – Christian Ponder is going to need an outlet and Shiancoe re-emerged on the scene as that guy. Shiancoe got back on the Fantasy radar with 4 catches, 45 yards and a touchdown on Sunday – definitely a worthwhile add.

Heath Miller – Pittsburgh Steelers – Miller has scored in two of his last three games and has been discovered once again by Big Ben. Miller is still a risk but the way he’s playing makes him a decent bye week fill-in.

Defense

Cincinnati Bengals – The Bengals play the Seahawks this week and if you watched what Cleveland did to Seattle’s offense, you know that this may be a good pickup. The Bengals have quietly been superb this season and deserve a look.

Houston Texans – Houston has one of the easiest schedules down the stretch and the defense despite losing some key elements has been very good. Houston has Jacksonville, Atlanta and Cincinnati on the schedule coming up and could be good for weeks to come.
