The Fantasy playoffs are in full swing and the cream is really rising to the Top in Fantasy circles. Week 15 was a one in which some previous Duds woke up and produced Stud performances. However, some Studs that have lit it up all season were complete Duds this week!

Enjoy Dave B`s Week 15 edition of Studs and Duds and hopefully, you had your share of Studs this week!

Studs of the Week:

Mike Vick – Philadelphia Eagles – Let`s just give him the MVP! On Sunday, he passed for 242 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a staggering 130 yards and a touchdown. 372 yards combined and four touchdowns are certainly worthy of Stud of the Week!

Ray Rice – Baltimore Ravens – Rice was a beast on Sunday. He ran for 153 yards and a touchdown while adding 80 yards receiving and another touchdown. Incredible effort from another Stud of the Week.

Vincent Jackson – San Diego Chargers – Vjax, where have you been? On Thursday night he made us all wonder where the Chargers would be if he played all season. He caught five passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns!

Other Studs:

QBs

Jon Kitna – Dallas Cowboys – Kitna passed for 300 yards again! He is the reason why the Cowboys have come on at the end of the season. Two touchdowns on 305 yards have Mr. Kitna on the Stud list again!

Philip Rivers – San Diego Chargers – No surprise here! Rivers was efficient and effective completing 19 of 25 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns.

Rex Grossman – Washington Redskins – Who needs Donovan McNabb? Grossman passed for 322 yards and four touchdowns. I will excuse the two interceptions for a Week 15 Stud!

RBs

Cedric Benson – Cincinnati Bengals – Benson finally showed up on Sunday. He had 31 touches and turned them into 150 yards and one touchdown – Stud!

Chris Johnson – Tennessee Titans – It took a while for Johnson to get going this season but in the last two weeks he has been a Stud! On Sunday he had 130 yards rushing and a touchdown to help the Titans break a seven game losing streak.

Donald Brown – Indianapolis Colts – If the Colts have a running game, they will be scary! Brown had 129 yards and a touchdown in the most important game of the season for the Colts.

Honourable Mention: Jonathan Stewart – Carolina Panthers

WRs

Mario Manningham – NY Giants – Manningham was a beast and on Sunday he did his best to help the G-Men win. He caught eight passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns in an unfortunate loss for New York.

Jason Whitten – Dallas Cowboys – 10 catches for 140 yards and a touchdown is definitely Stud material – don`t you think?

Brandon Marshall – Miami Dolphins – Marshall has been quiet for the majority of the season but he stepped up in Week 15. He caught 11 passes for 106 yards and he scored for the first time in what seems like a lifetime – Stud!

Honourable Mention: Calvin Johnson – Detroit Lions

Duds of the Week:

Tim Hightower – Arizona Cardinals – After last week, expectations were sky high for Hightower. The result? 28 combined yards and Dud of the Week honours.

Anquan Boldin – Baltimore Ravens – One catch for two yards? Come on Anquan!

Other Duds:

QBs

Sam Bradford – St. Louis Rams – Bradford was brutal in a very winnable game. Those of you who started them over Aaron Rodgers suffered big time on Sunday! He passed for 181 yards, zero touchdowns and two huge interceptions in a game that they could have taken sole possession of first in the NFC West.

Matt Hasselbeck – Seattle Seahawks – Ugly game for Matt who some loved this week as a sleeper. He threw for 71 yards and two interceptions – that’s it!

Tom Brady – New England Patriots – He wasn’t bad but he wasn’t his usual Stud self! He passed for just 163 yards and two touchdowns and nearly lost me the fantasy semi-final!

RBs

Arian Foster – Houston Texans – He was the number one RB on many rankings lists this week. He rushed for 15 yards on Sunday – 15! He added 46 yards receiving but that’s little consolation for those depending on Dud Arian! He was nicked but even when in, he did nothing!

Knowshon Moreno – Denver Broncos – Moreno was another player in Top 10 lists this weekend but punished his owners. He ran for five yards on four carries. He was also injured but he killed some owners this week and is therefore a Dud.

Peyton Hillis – Cleveland Browns – Hillis is another player that most were depending on this week. He ran for 59 yards in a game that snapped Cincinnati’s 10 game losing streak.

Honourable Mention: Maurice Jones-Drew – Jacksonville Jaguars, Fred Jackson – Buffalo Bills,

WRs

Vernon Davis – San Francisco 49ers – Vernon was the consensus #1 Tight End this week but caught just one ball for four yards. He was very close to being Dud of the Week!

Michael Crabtree – San Francisco 49ers – Crabtree also had a brutal week and is deserving of Dud status. He caught just three passes for 17 yards on Thursday night and was part of an absolutely underwhelming 49ers team.

Reggie Wayne – Indianapolis Colts – Everyone loved Reggie this week. How did he reward us? Five catches for 34 yards – Dud effort by someone I hate to call a Dud!
