Week 10 was thrilling as per usual! There were some truly outstanding efforts again and there were some absolutely brutal ones as well – too many to list! Below is a breakdown of all the superb and the brutal performances of Week 10 in Dave B’s Week 10 Studs and Duds list.

Studs of the Week:

Tom Brady – New England Patriots – I thought the Jets were built to beat Tom Brady! Yikes. Brady was masterful against the Jets vaunted pass defense on Sunday night. He did whatever he wanted on Sunday night and finished with 329 yards passing and three touchdowns. Without a doubt – Brady is the Stud of the Week.

Michael Bush – Oakland Raiders – What a game for Bush on Thursday night! He had 242 total yards against the Chargers in an improbable Raiders win. 33 touches and a touchdown along with his amazing yardage totals make Bush an obvious Stud of the Week.

Other Studs:

QBs

Tony Romo – Dallas Cowboys – Romo has certainly taken his share of heat this season but on Sunday he stepped up and became a Stud. He completed an astounding 23 of 26 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns.

Carson Palmer – Oakland Raiders – Carson looks like he hasn’t missed a beat. He has weapons and knows how to get the ball to them. Palmer went an efficient 14 of 20 on Thursday night for 299 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Palmer was a Stud and has the Raiders looking very good going forward.

RBs

Chris Johnson – Tennessee Titans – That’s right – Johnson was finally Studworthy this week! He ran 27 times for 130 yards and a touchdown while adding 4 catches for 44 yards in a big win over the Carolina Panthers. Could it be that Johnson has turned the corner?

Arian Foster – Houston Texans – Surprise! Not really! Foster had 84 yards rushing and a touchdown while adding 4 catches for 102 yards and a score. 186 total yards and two touchdowns will make you a Stud every week!

Honourable Mention: Steven Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Demarco Murray

WRs

Larry Fitzgerald – Arizona Cardinals – Fitz. has been curiously absent from the Stud list this season but Sunday’s effort has him right where he should be! Larry had 7 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns in a huge win over the Eagles – Stud!

Danarius Moore – Oakland Raiders – Hello Mr. Waiver Wire? This is Danarius Moore. Be prepared to see my name appear often this week. Moore was a total Stud on Thursday night – 5 caches, 123 yards and two touchdowns makes Moore the most unlikely Stud this week!

Ed Dickson – Baltimore Ravens – He was the only good thing about the Ravens on Sunday. HJe stepped up and made 10 catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns – Stud!

Honourable Mention: Laurent Roninson

Duds of the Week:

Michael Vick – Philadelphia Eagles – Vick was not responsible for one touchdown against the brutal Cardinals defense. He passed for a miserable 128 with ZERO touchdowns and two interceptions. Vick did add 79 yards rushing but here is no question that Vick is a deserving Stud of the Week.

Darren Sproles – New Orleans Saints – Sproles has been a combined yardage best this season but gained 1 YARD in two carries this week. He did have four catches for 2 YARDS! Brutal effort from a very good player!

DeSean Jackson – Philadelphia Eagles – Jackson was benched today because he slept through a team meeting yesterday. Thanks DeSean, you Dud!

Other Duds:

QBs

Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers – Newton had 267 combined yards on Sunday but failed to guide his team to a touchdown. He has 212 yards passing and 55 yards rushing but was responsible for a costly interception on an afternoon in which his team only managed three points.

Josh Freeman – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Freeman had a miserable afternoon and continued throwing interceptions in Week 10. On Sunday, he passed for 170 yards, one touchdown and three more interceptions. In an important game at home, Freeman delivered a Dud.

Matt Cassel – KC Chiefs – Cassel had the juiciest of matchups this week – the Broncos came to town. Instead of lighting it up, Cassel passed for just 93 yards, and one touchdown in an improbable loss to the offensively challenged Broncs.

Dishonourable Mention: Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow

RBs

LeGarrette Blount – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Blount, like the whole team was off in Week 10. He managed just 34 yards rushing in an important game – Dud! [ad-8469823]

Saints RBs – Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram and Darren Sproles combined for 41 yards on 16 carries against the Falcons on Sunday. If you started any of them in Fantasy, I am truly sorry.

WRs

Steve Johnson – Buffalo Bills – Wow – 2 catches for 8 yards? What a Dud performance!

Anquan Boldin – Baltimore Ravens – Boldin looked to have been turning the corner but then Week 10 happened! He had 2 catches for 22 yards in a Dud performance!

Vincent Jackson – San Diego Chargers – ugly, ugly game for Jackson in Week 10 – less than a week after recording 3 touchdowns. Jackson had 1 measly catch for 22 yards to end up on the Dud list.

Dwayne Bowe – KC Chiefs – In what was a bad week for Stud WRs; Mr. Bowe finds his way to the Dud list with 2 catches for 17 yards.

Dishonourable Mention: Steve Smith (Car), Jeremy Maclin, Sidney Rice
