Week 10 is almost here – really! There is a game on Thursday night. Heading down the stretch of the fantasy season, there are some players that will almost guarantee you a Fantasy title. Congratulations if you own one or two!

There are also some that should be in that position but have fallen on hard times lately as well. So who can you depend on for Week 10 and beyond? Check out Dave B’s Fantasy Hot and Not – Week 10 and let me know what you think.

Hot

QBs

Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers – Rodgers is having a year that has never been seen in the pros. He is the first player in NFL history to pass for over 2,600 yards and throw 24 TD passes through his team’s first eight games of the season and he has added 127 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Rodgers is unstoppable and is the Hottest player on the planet!

Eli Manning – NY Giants – Manning can take solace this week in knowing that he out-duelled the best QB in the game Tom Brady. Manning has now thrown multiple touchdowns in every game but two this season – Week 1 and 6 were the only two he didn’t. Manning has averaged a career best 297.1 yards per game this season, has 15 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Manning is backing up his obnoxious comments from earlier this season and is Hot as they come right now.

Ben Roethlisberger – Pittsburgh Steelers – Big Ben is on fire with 1,056 passing yards in his last three games, with six touchdowns to go with just two picks. He is the first Steelers quarterback to pass for 300 yards in three straight games and is currently on pace for a terrific 5000+ yards on the season. The Steelers are a passing team believe it or not and Big Ben is proving that he can be “The Man” in Pittsburgh!

RBs

Arian Foster – Houston Texans – Foster has been scorching as of late – four touchdowns and an average of 112 yards in his last three games and six straight games with 100+ yards from scrimmage. Foster has 565 yards rushing and 343 yards receiving in about 6 ½ games this season – Hot!

Steven Jackson – St. Louis Rams – Jackson has compiled 289 yards over the last two games on 54 carries since returning from injury while scoring twice in the last two games. With Sam Bradford back from his own injury, Jackson could be even better – with Cleveland, Seattle and Arizona on tap, chances are that he will remain Hot!

DeMarco Murray – Dallas Cowboys – The rookie from Oklahoma has compiled 466 yards over the last three games, including a team-record 253 in a win over St. Louis on Oct. 23. His worst game over that span was a 74 yard effort in a game that he only received eight touches! Felix Jones is due back but it is hard to imagine Murray losing any touches upon Jones’s return!

Honourable Mention: LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte

WRs

Victor Cruz – NY Giants – Cruz has posted at least 90 yards receiving in five of the last six games and has four touchdown grabs over that span. Hakeem Nicks will likely sit this week so Cruz should remain Hot!

Anquan Boldin – Baltimore Ravens – Boldin has averaged 8.5 receptions for 101 yards with one touchdown in his last four games. He’s got Seattle this week in a very juicy matchup that should help him build on his stellar play.

Greg Jennings – Green Bay Packers – Jennings may have had a slightly lower yardage total in Week 9 (46) but he did score his sixth touchdown in eight games. Jennings has averaged six catches and 90.4 yards per game this season and is as reliable as they come!

Not Hot

QBs

Matt Schaub – Houston Texans – Schaub completed 13 of 24 passes for 119 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday’s win over Cleveland. Schaub has now averaged 215 yards passing per game in his last four and has a total of three touchdowns in those games. The Texans running game is Hot and the expense of Not Hot Schaub!

Alex Smith – San Francisco 49ers – Smith has now gone four straight games without topping 200 yards passing and he’s been under 200 yards in six of eight games this year. Sunday was also the third-straight game in which he’s been limited to just one TD pass. The 49ers are Hot but Smith’s Fantasy value certainly is Not! [ad-8469823]

RBs

Ryan Torain – Washington Redskins – Torain has officially become Roy Helu`s change-of-pace according to Mike Shanahan. We’re going to have Ryan kind of substitute him when he gets tired,” said Shanahan. “You can see (Helu) is a pretty good all-around back. He made some plays.” In other words, it may be time to drop Mr. Torain!

Chris Johnson – Tennessee Titans – Johnson played better on Sunday but is still far from his Top 3 Fantasy pick potential. He is definitely Not Hot! Johnson is on pace for 732 rushing yards, 62 receptions, 412 receiving yards, and has just one TD to his credit so far this season.

WRs

Miles Austin – Dallas Cowboys – Austin re-aggravated his hamstring on Sunday and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. In his last three games he has been a virtual non-factor however – a total of 7 catches and 96 yards in those games clearly show that Austin was Not Hot anyway!

Nate Washington – Tennessee Titans – Washington averaged 78 yards receiving per game in his first five but has gone Not Hot since. In his last three games Washington has totalled 8 catches 72 yards.

Chad Ochocinco – New England Patriots – Chad Ochocinco was held without a catch for the third straight game in Week 9 against the Giants. On the season, Chad has a TOTAL of nine catches, 136 yards and ZERO touchdowns. It’s time to retire Ocho – you are Not Hot!
