NY Jets at Denver 8:20 PM

On Thursday Night Football, I think Mark Sanchez will have some success – not a terrible option for your Fantasy squad. Shonn Greene will be the main horse in the backfield and is an OK RB2 although I’ve said it before. Plaxico Burress, Santonio Holmes and Dustin Keller are all fine options this week along with the Jets defense. For Denver, if and only if Willis McGahee starts, he is the only Fantasy option.

Jacksonville at Cleveland 1:00 PM

As always, Maurice Jones-Drew is the only player I trust for the Jaguars – period! Take a look at the Jags defense if stuck as well. For the Browns, it is hard to like anyone as well. Ben Watson is about the only Brown that I would not hesitate playing.

Carolina at Detroit 1:00 PM

This could be a high scoring affair. Start Cam Newton and Steve Smith for sure and maybe Greg Olsen as well. Jonathan Stewart could be a decent flex in deeper leagues too. For the Lions, start Matt Stafford and Megatron as always. Titus Young and Nate Burleson could be an OK flex – the trick is figuring out which of the two will be better! I would also recommend Brandon Pettigrew at Tight End.

Tampa Bay at Green Bay 1:00 PM

I have a feeling that this game will be a shootout too. In that vein, you could do worse than Josh Freeman for sure. All of the receivers are a crap shoot but if I had to rank them, it would be Mike Williams, Arrelious Benn and then Desmon Briscoe. Kellen Winslow is a good option too for a Bucs team that will definitely be throwing all game long. For Green Bay, start everyone – Rodgers, Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Jermichael Finley and even James Stark have to be in lineups.

Buffalo at Miami 1:00 PM

Hard to like the Bills right now but I think that Sunday will be Ryan Fitzpatrick’s best effort in a while – start if you are stuck. Fred Jackson is unbenchable right now but be wary of Stevie Johnson this week. He has been just OK lately and is dealing with a shoulder injury. I like David Nelson to score in this game and Scott Chandler could be a decent Tight End for you. For Miami, Reggie Bush is a good option this week along with Brandon Marshall.

Oakland at Minnesota 1:00 PM

For the Raiders, look for Carson Palmer to build on last week’s performance and have a decent day. Michael Bush or Darren McFadden has to be started this week and Danarius Moore is an interesting gamble that could pay off huge. I don’t trust any more of the Raiders just yet! For the Vikings, Adrian Peterson is the only sure-fire starter right now!

Dallas at Washington 1:00 PM

Tony Romo has to be started this week especially with the stable of QBs on byes this week. DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant, Laurent Robinson and Jason Witten are all good options as well. For Washington your guess is as good as mine. Fred Davis is the only reliable option at this point in time – everyone else scares the crap out of me!

Cincinnati at Baltimore 1:00 PM

The Bengals have the misfortune of playing a fired up Ravens squad this week. AJ Green, if healthy is the only Bengal worth starting. Cedric Benson will get a lot of touches and could be just OK based on that! For Baltimore, I like Joe Flacco to have a decent game but Ray Rice to be a monster. Anquan Boldin will bounce back and I like Ed Dickson to score again – start all three but be wary of the rest of the Ravens. [ad-8469823]

Seattle at St. Louis 4:05 PM

If absolutely, and I mean absolutely stuck, you could use Tarvaris Jackson this week – he could post OK numbers against a brutal and banged up St. Louis defense. Marshawn Lynch has posted back-to-back 100 yards games as well and deserves a start based on that. I like Sidney Rice to post OK numbers this week and like Doug Baldwin to score – get them active if you are thin at WR. For St. Louis, if there was a week to start Sam Bradford, this is it! Steven Jackson should continue his torrid pace and is worth a start as well. I also like Brandon Lloyd to have a good game this week.

Arizona at San Francisco 4:05 PM

It is hard to like anyone on Arizona this week against a top notch 49ers defense. Larry Fitzgerald is the only reliable option. For San Francisco, Frank Gore is banged up and could lose some touches this week – he is still startable based on his huge potential. Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree could be decent as well this week – all other 49ers are huge gambles this week.

Tennessee at Atlanta 4:15 PM

It is hard to recommend any Titans but if forced, I can see Chris Johnson posting OK but not spectacular numbers. Damian Williams appears to be the best receiving option for Tennessee. If you are a gambling man, Matt Hasselbeck could be OK but prepare for disappointment – he’s 50/50 to have a good game. For the Falcons, I like Matt Ryan to have a good week at home this week. That means Roddy White, Harry Douglas and Tony Gonzalez are fine starts. Start Michael Turner of course.

San Diego at Chicago 4:15 PM

Look for a bounce back week for the Chargers this week. That means that Philip Rivers, Vincent Jackson, Vincent Brown and Antonio Gates are fine options this week. The banged up running game could have a difficult time against Chicago’s defense however. Avoid if possible. For the Bears, Jay Cutler should be fine, not great, Matt Forte is automatic and Earl Bennett is a good start.

Philadelphia at NY Giants 8:20 PM

Michael Vick may sit this week leaving Vince Young as Philadelphia’s QB – Yikes! If this is the case, LeSean McCoy is the only Eagle that I trust. If you are playing any other Eagle you are a bigger person than I. For the Giants, don’t hesitate on Eli Manning, Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham or Victor Cruz. Whoever starts at running back for the Giants is also a good option this week. Jake Ballard may be a nice option as well if your Tight End is on a bye.

Kansas City at New England 8:30 PM

Matt Cassel is rumored to be OUT this week leaving Tyler Palko as the Chiefs starting QB. You may still want to start Dwayne Bowe but be prepared for a crash and burn! For New England, business as usual – Brady, Welker, Gronkowski and even Deion Branch are fine options. BenJarvus Green-Ellis and the Patriots defense are also interesting options.

Byes: Indianapolis, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Houston
